positives first. lovely old house in great area. lots of character. nice backyard and easy parking. check in was easy. some constructive criticism. the air conditioning does not work well and was not on prior to us arriving. it took hours to get the house even moderately cooled off, would have been super nice to have that done prior to arrival. even once running it was subpar at best. my 6 yo old son and i shared the downstairs bedroom and when he got in the bed he said "uh oh, whats all this dirt, we might need to find somewhere else to sleep", i looked and the entire upper part of the bedsheets were covered in dirt and debris. can't even explain it, it was under the comforter. i dusted it all off and we went to bed. same on the pull out couch, the rubber covered mattress was covered in debris, like outdoor dirt and detritus. same here, dusted it off, then made the bed with the linens provided which were super dingy and in need of replacing. and lastly the dryer does not work. i tend to pack light and look for lodging that has laundry facilities so i can do wash during my stay. even after three runs through the dryer clothes were not dry and that was only using the sharpie marked setting area on the dryer that said it was the "only setting that would heat". we were asked to start linens upon leaving but i gave up given that the dryer does not work. so there you have it. the good with the bad. mgmt did check in on day 2 but i couldnt see what could be done in the time we had
