Such a cozy stay, perfect location. So many fun things to do around. Only reason I wouldnât do a 5 star is because the hot tub smelt so much like bleach! Could be Will definitely be back!
4 sisters all in our 70's. Worked puzzles, walked, played games, and lots of talking. Had a great time. Quiet neighborhood, saw some deer, and had a great time.
Got this little cabin in the woods perfect for the Valentines weekend. Clean, easy and worry free. Thanks for the easiest little getaway we could ask for!
Great Location!
Very well stocked!
Very Clean!
Had some problems with internet as Sunriver had a power failure before we arrived.
There was no power to the microwave but a stall person showed in the morning with a new microwave.
The left hand doors on the fireplace need to be fixed. If you open it, it falls off and the room becomes very smokey.
We had a great stay and would highly recommend this place. Thanks
Overall the property was great! The location is perfect and the neighborhood is quiet. The house wasnât super clean (more like the deep cleaning). The dishwasher doesnât work. We ran it three times and it didnât clean the dishes. Things are super dusty and there are some big cobwebs in the upstairs bedrooms. We would stay here again though despite some of the things listed above.
Great stay! Kids loved the bunk beds and wrap around porch! Porch could use some TLC thoughâŠ. Chipping paint and seems kinda rickety. Iâm surprised no one got any splinters or hurt otherwise! Very tiny kitchen, but had everything we needed for meals. Very responsive when the battery to the front door key pad died and we got locked out of the house! We didnât use the bikes as we had brought our own. Loved all the fans to keep us cool! Thank you so much!
The overall place was good but for the price could have been cleaner, safer and more updated. Extension cords as trip hazards, and wiring were sloppy and not up to expectations of the surrounding property. Bath was updated but poorly done and water would go everywhere, again another safety hazard.
Bed was comfy, but kitchen outdated. Pollen everywhere!
This admittedly is a tough one to review. This is a cute house, we enjoyed our stay, and house was comfortable for our family of 4 and our dog. Was clean, lots of parking, nice flooring downstairs, we enjoyed the big table in the eating area as well as the comfortable living room, and nice having bedrooms for everyone. Downstairs bedroom is a bit dark but the ones upstairs were great. Location was also great as very quick to get to Sunriver Village. Even walked it in the snow. With that being said, however, honestly don't know if it would be our first choice to go back to, but we would go back to it if couldn't find another place or if it was just the two of us. Primarily feel this way because the kitchen is so tiny and in need of some upkeep. It's really only made for one person to be in there at a time. We managed 2 a couple of times but it was tricky and made for a bit of a challenge in trying to cook meals for the entire family. We found that we ate our dinners out more than we were planning to as just was too difficult to manage cooking a big meal in the kitchen, let alone trying to clean it afterwards. Kitchen could use some new silverware (a lot of pieces were broken), could use another pot and a small frying pan, the cabinets are very old and don't always close, and the stove vents right up into the upper cabinet (not into a vent to take it outside) so it just pushes the steam right back into the kitchen. Thank goodness we could open the window to help push the steam out. We also had a couple of issues that Vacasa was great in responding to quickly but unfortunately couldn't completely solve while we were there but they did come up with alternatives for us - 1) the door would never accept any codes (just the worst door lock we've ever encountered) so had to rely on the 1 spare key that was in the lock box the entire time and 2) the hot tub had a padlock but it was rusted so the key wouldn't work to open it. Vacasa helped us out with a way around it for the time we were there. Also, we are pretty positive the hot tub got installed backwards into the deck! We have a hot tub and typically the controls and main step into the hot tub are always at the front, where people step into the tub. But instead these were at the back next to the fence (so step was unusable) and also meant that you can't get to the controls until you are actually in the hot tub. Very weird. But overall, we enjoyed our stay here.
Our family's 10th trip to SR and first time renting in this neighborhood. We loved being so close to everything (Village, SHARC) yet still felt quiet and off beaten paths. House was perfect size for our family of four (five, including dog). Kitchen is small but worked for us. Only minor complaint is downstairs bedroom is directly under "kids room" upstairs and any noise, even normal speaking voices, can be heard clearly. Overall, however, we loved this home and will definitely be back.
