We stayed in the cottage for a week with our dog. The location was perfect for us...walking distance to food, parks, and friends, and not a long drive to hikes and skiing. The cottage itself is tiny (which we knew) but I kept hitting my ankles on the bed frame when walking sideways to get past it. The bed itself is quite comfortable. Note to people with a dog, there is no fenced yard access from within the house. We missed this detail. Also while the kitchen is stocked with more spices than I've seen at a holiday rental, if you plan on cooking, bring your own mixing bowls and knives. Also, you have to open the window when the gas stove is on as there is no venting. Overall, the cottage is a little tired but the location and coziness still make for a good stay in Bend.
