The place was clean and in a nice neighborhood that was about a 20 minute walk from downtown Bend. It had all the essential items we needed, but could have used some minor niceties like ziploc bags and aluminum foil, things that you don't "need" but make the stay nicer. My other minor gripes are that there isn't really a backyard area and the place is for sale, which means that the furnishings are slightly lacking and it doesn't really have a "home-y" feel.
We had a wonderful stay with family celebrating our sonâs graduation from accelerated BSN nursing school. Great location. Walked everywhere. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare a few meals.
Great escape for a family of 4 to explore the Bend area. Would work for a family of 6, easily. Very clean with easy check-in. Had all we needed to enjoy our stay and prepare meals. Would recommend adding a Yale lock to the back door that operates by the front door, it would make accessing the home from the driveway much more convenient.
There was some confusion about the trash cans. I had been told to put them out Monday night but couldnât find them. I guess they were already put out across the street but the property manager kept telling me to look for them in the garage. Well there is no garage. So after 3 or 4 messages back and forth I just gave up
Mattress in master feels like it needs to be replaced, big dents where people have slept
Our stay at the house was great. The rooms are larger than they look online, the kitchen is well stocked, and location is good. The AC does not seem to work well but there are several portable fans in the home. The backyard is not fenced in, which was fine for our dog but something to know if your dog isn't great off leash. The house is a few blocks from a great off leash dog nature preserve. There are a few steps/different levels throughout the house that could be a hazard for young children or elderly adults. Overall good place to stay.
We were in town for a softball tournament and this house was in a great location about 8-10 minutes from the fields. Very clean, generous size bedrooms and pet friendly!
Stayed a couple of nights over the Memorial Day weekend. The neighbourhood is lovely and very quiet yet close to downtown, the river, Phil's trails and Newport market. House is well equipped with everything you could need; spacious and comfortable.
Wonderful place for a family staying for extended time. Well stocked kitchen, very warm heater and hot water pressure. Super cute neighborhood & very convenient. Loved it!
We enjoyed our stay and found everything we needed in terms of appointments. The house was clean and we enjoyed the centrality of the location. Great kitchen!
Overall a great stay for what we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and location close enough to downtown and Old Mill.
A couple notes is that we knew there was no A/C but we were there it was Smokey so we couldnât open windows to help cool house down and fans provided just circulated warm air.
Also for our group of 8 (4 adults & 4 kids) the full size bed was really only big enough for 1 adult. We didnât use hideabed but brought our own cots.
The house could use a little more places to sit especially if everyone is wanting to watch a movie or TV.
But the place does have plenty of room overall.
Do not book with this property management group (Arrived)
I was heading to Bend with a group spread out at a few different properties for an outdoor adventure weekend, something we do 1-2 times a year. With the nearby wildfires the AQI in Bend the night before and day of our trip was reading 800 in some areas, averaging 300 throughout the duration of our would-be trip. An AQI of 300 is dangerous for anyone, but I am also pregnant and traveling to this kind of AQI would be a serious health risk.
Due to the smoke, all activities booked, other properties our friends had rented and airlines refunded us without issue. This property however would not. They offered (and did) refund us the cleaning fee and damage waiver but said if no one else booked the house over those nights they would not refund us. Obviously, no one was going to book the house when the AQI in Bend was 300. They said they would only refund us if there was an evacuation order for the area the house was in.
When I called to speak to someone and explained the situation the woman on the phone was extremely rude. I said that the AQI map I was looking at showed areas of Bend at 800 and that I was pregnant and it would extremely unsafe for us to travel. She responded with "Well I am downtown in the middle of Bend and it is actually in the 300s right now". Which is still toxic! It is absolutely ridiculous to me that the health of their guests is not a priority. We have already rebooked our trip and our entire group will not be booking a property at Arriived ever again.
Listing not accurate. Definitely not walkable to town as listed
The title says it all. Definitely need a car to get to town, even just to stock the essentials. A biggie- NO AC. I didnât notice this in the listing that it just had heat. There were fans but the house was hot. Overall. this is a very nice house. One more thing- the dryer takes forever to dry anything. Oh, one more thing. A very nice man showed up unannounced, without an Id tag saying we reported that apple tv wasnât working. We had not called - maybe a previous tenant? We mentioned the house was missing a blender and he ran and got one for us. He was very nice, but having my son in law in law enforcement, you canât be too careful. Id or a call would have been expected.
We had a fantastic long weekend at the property. Big enough home to sleep 8 people comfortably, and check-in/check-out was very easy. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home!
The house was ready when we arrived. Everything was clean and neat. Kitchen was arranged nicely.
All doors could use some oil to eliminate squeaking when opened. Not an issue and my fault for not reaching out to owner. I would stay there again.
