Covenient, clean & economical

My husband and I took a mini trip to the St Joseph area and found this little gem of a hotel so close and convenient to everything. We could literally walk to town and it was just a short drive to the bluff walking area and beaches. Owner was extremely friendly and the stay included a free continental breakfast. Great for a short trip.

Everything was excellent except when we got back from the memorial at 10:30 p.m. out door tag did not work and we had to go down to the front desk and get different tags. I didn’t think to ask at the time, but if this is policy for safety, I understand. And if it is policy, I wish we would have been told at check in.

Love that it is close to everything and the beach. I know it's an older building that has been renovated. the mildew smell was coming from the bed skirt. Just needs to be washed. I stayed there back in the 80's and was happy to know it was re-opened.

Everything was very nice, the staff were polite and friendly. The sink in our bathroom was broken, but it still worked so didn't of set our stay. I would have liked to have used the work out room, but the treadmill was out of order. The room was very nice and clean.
