B Street Bungalow is situated in my favorite area of downtown Bentonville, within walking distance to downtown (bagels, pizza and barbecue), and in another direction, Crepes Paulette (breakfast or dessert). It was immaculately clean and attractively staged, without the overabundance of knickknacks that many rental properties display (although still too many pillows and throws). The yard was heaven for my two dogs and the fire pit was a nice addition. There is a separate building in the backyard that could serve as a third bedroom. It is currently furnished as a game room and has a small sofa. An inflatable mattress could be installed in this room to use it as a third bedroom. It has an AC unit and a small refrigerator, but no bathroom. As a couple, we didn’t use this room, but looked in the floor to ceiling windows that overlook the backyard and fire pit. The house itself is SMALL, and could benefit from some restaging. Instead of an ‘L’ shaped oversize sofa, it would really benefit from a small dining table against the side wall and a smaller sofa (or two comfortable chairs). The breakfast counter is not really large enough to be multi-functional, especially with an adult and children, and the house has no other place for a laptop set up.
