Superb location, in Bryggen: exactly where you want to be in Bergen. The historic town is right around you and you can walk to the piers and the fish market. The airport shuttle starts from right outside the hotel, so that is an added convenience. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner were included, which is unusual. Breakfast was a generous spread. Dinner was simple but adequate. The bar in the lobby is open until late. (Note: no food available after 8:00 pm.) We expect to be back in Bergen soon, and don't need to shop for a hotel: we will definitely stay here again.

We are frequent travellers and my partner tells me that this is the best hotel she has ever stayed in. The food is excellent. Even the vegetarian dinner night. Breakfast are the best ever. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. The small fridge is a nice necessity. Location is excellent. Staff are efficient and friendly. The only suggestion is the lights in the room were a bit complicated and lacking in the bathroom. A tip to get the shower on is to pulll down on the tap spout. Make sure you have a drink in the lobby bar as it is amazing. Yes,we would stay here again.

Excellent breakfast, fresh, high quality and good choice including local specialties. The staff was super friendly, the rooms are comfortable and the whole experience was superb. Great staff, breakfast was very good. Great location. Our room was next to the elevator so unfortunately it was noisy at night but we didn’t want to be bothered moving our room.

If you like shopping, and a busy area, stay here. It’s close to many stores and restaurants. There is a market Really busy area, but our room was quiet. The staff was very kind and ready to help. The food at the dinner buffet had fresh salads and a good variety for every taste.
