Very hard to access 5 keys and padlock
Very basic accom noisy fridge dripping taps , leaky shower head saturating the bathroom floor over the curtain ( rail stain = long-standing issue .Mouldy shower curtain nothing supplied no linen and we were charged extra fees for pets then extra for cleaning and extra service fee !!! To add to the problems we found we were locked in and had a hard time getting outâno single key ingress / egress point, needed minimum 2 gate fiddle
Suggest refund service fees, maintenance focus, single point egress.
The bungalow is spacious and very clean lovely view of the water
My suggestion to all people renting out stays is to install hand rails in the bathroom as itâs difficult for people with knee and back problems to get into and out of bath tubs without slipping
I had a most enjoyable stay. Very relaxing. I had a puppy with me and she enjoyed the beach the sand the ice cream the friendly people but most of all the lovely garden so my mummy could relax with a glass of wine and watch me.
First thought when we entered the property was that we were in an Opportunity Shop, The furniture and building was a throw back to the 1970ies and for $250 plus a night was a fair bit over the top.
The bungalow is in a very good central location with easy access to beach, walking trails and shops. Older style cottage, with comfortable beds and lounge/kitchen area captures the winter sun in the morning and view across the bay.
We stayed here for the Four Winds music festival. Location couldnât have been better. Balcony and view were wonderful and beds comfortable. Coffee addicts should be warned there was no coffee plunger, though given the proximity of cafes it wasnât a huge concern. Definitely hope to stay again.
Great location with only a short walk to coffee shops and dog friendly beach.
Simmone the host, was lovely and very responsive.
The bungalow is roomy and extremely comfortable and contained everything we needed but could do with a refresh, ie curtains etc
We had a good stay here despite the incredibly wet weather. The beds were comfortable and living space and outdoor areas were great. Only small thing was that perhaps is time to replace/upgrade the shower fitting and perhaps provide a few electric fans for hot weather. Overall though would definitely book this great little spot again.
Perfect location in Bermagui. A no frills, budget accommodation with a friendly manager and well looked after garden. Kitchen, bathroom and rooms are very simple but clean.
Comfortable small bungalow with a view from the deck - close to everything- great for our Jack Russell doggie . Doesnât have a hairdryer though which is unusual these days. Loved swimming in the Blue pool.
Location was great and very suitable and secure for the dog. Bathroom basic and could do with a non slip mat and handrail in the bath/shower. Lovely garden and close to everything.
Our family love this place! Perfect location, really comfortable and the hosts are great. Itâs close to everything, the beach, shops, Blue pools, fishing. Canât recommend it enough for a really nice getaway with lovely beach holiday vibes.
Location and view unbeatable but lacking a few things
The place has stunning views of the ocean and the location is excellent. One small downside to the location is the cottage is right next to Woolies so you may get a bit of noise from their carpark. One night there was quite a bit of noise from a freight truck unloading and reversing for about 20mins.
The common area is a nice spot but the grass was full of bindies and had not been mowed in a while which meant it was quite long and full of clover so also full of bees which was a potential hazard for small kids and dogs.
A lot of the furniture is dated and the stove top has no exhaust fan. The place needs a new TV. While there was a warning that the TV would take 30secs to turn on, there was about a 5-10 sec delay from the remote control when you changed the channel or the volume. It doesnât make for a very enjoyable viewing experience and it does not easy make it for kids to operate either.
Some of the curtains were coming off the rails. There was no scourer to wash up with.
Thereâs no internet and you have to supply your own linen. Both of these things were advertised.
These all seem like very minor/small things but when added up together, it take aways a little from the experience of staying there, especially for this price being charged in low season. For that price I think itâs reasonable to expect a little more. The place just needs a little bit spent on it and with a bit more attention to detail on the basics, it would really lift the standard of the place and bring it into line with the price being charged.
