We were here for the USGA Adaptive Open. Location was perfect for our needs! Close to town and the golf course. Home was cozy and well equipped. Would definitely stay again!
Home was well stocked for a multiple day stay. Lots of small touches to make us comfortable. Good, safe neighborhood. Could walk to metro station in 10 minutes. Owner offered us a parking pass if wanted to drive to the metro. It wasnât a big deal, but we were surprised how loud the air conditioner was when running. It drowned out the sound on the tv.
Elizabethâs home is perfect! Very clean, comfortable beds, great location and all amenities needed. She was very communicative before, during and the day we left. The home is quite charming and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. Close to many shops, restaurants, the train, etc. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
This house was cozy and comfortable for our family of 5- which included little kids and a toddler. The owner made sure that we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to accommodate us. It was super close to the train and major roads to DC and Baltimore. Will definitely book again when we come visit.
Pros: Was close to the grocery and restaurants. We didnât ride the train but because it loudly went past the front of the house at high speed day and night Iâm guessing the station was close. Neutral: The beds had super firm mattresses. Felt like sleeping on the wooden floor. I was miserable but if you like that sort of thing youâre fine. Cons: There was hair in the bed and shower plus a dirty mug in sink when we got there. The stair railing was falling off and it made going up and down the stairs scary and potentially dangerous. House sleeps 4 but there was only a sofa in the living room that held 3 people smushed together. So what the 4th person had to stand? The HVAC vent is in the living room and when either the heat or the AC came on it was so loud it made it impossible to hear the TV or even have a conversation. And the shower/tub combo had a grungy mildew covered rubber mat in there that was disgusting to stand on. Turns out it was supposed to hide the cracked, chipped and rusted enamel of the tub. Combined with the clogged drain that had you standing in an inch of your own dirty water and showering was a horrible experience. The whole place needs a refresh, from the stained and worn living room rug to the kitchen cookware that was scratched, pitted and virtually unusable. Had 4 vegetable peelers but only 1 small pair of broken tongs? Overall poor experience. Glad we were gone most of the day so didnât have to put up with it. Would not recommend this place.
The house is clean and comfortable. It is a short walk to the Metro. The host was friendly and quick to respond to questions. We would definitely stay there again.
This charming, immaculate home was perfect for our visit, complete with a well-stocked kitchen, big screen TV, huge (and extremely comfortable!) master bed, gas grill, gas firepit, nice shampoo/soap, steaming hot shower with great water pressure, board games, and a bag of fresh, unopened coffee! The owners were great at communicating with us throughout the process. The neighbors were very friendly, the neighborhood was great for walking, and our dog enjoyed the big backyard. We were extremely impressed with the home, and will definitely book it again if we are visiting Rockville!
Stayed here to pack up my daughter in Maryland and help her move. After exhausting days, it was nice to come back to a clean and nice home with very comfortable beds!
We were in town for an event which kept us out of the house most of the day. The house is small but provided a little more space than a hotel for meals and getting ready in the mornings. The neighborhood is really cute and quiet, we were greeted by neighbors as we walked by. Very convenient walk to the Rockville Metro station. We also walked to Food Lion the first night to get some steps in (it would have also been a very quick drive). Highly recommend CS NY Pizza!
Great place to gather and close to NIH and all other amenities desired for our weekend. Grass was cut and peonies in bloom which made it feel welcoming. Would stay there again if needing a group family place in returning to NIH. Elizabeth and Martin very responsive.
Home was in a great location to visit many of our relatives in the surrounding areas. Back deck and yard were perfect for our fur baby to stretch out in the sun and get a little exercise.
Driveway was nice and long for our camper van, too. Walked to shops and had some awesome cupcakes from Lil cakes and creamery.
This property was perfect for our very busy family! The owners were kind and helpful! It was very kid friendly, and we enjoyed it very much! We would stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay! The yard was perfect for our dogs, and the house was just what we needed. Comfortable and nicely appointed, we would love to have stayed a little longer. Very close to the Metro station, grocery, lots of places to eat. Very nice neighbors. Would stay again.
Clean and comfortable. Nice garden and deck. Perfect for our event at the local Glenview Mansion. Hosts communicated very well. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Came in to the DC area for our son's 40th birthday. Location was perfect. Took the
train into NYC..just blocks from the house. So many great places to eat and shop. House was comfy and a big thanks for the coffee!
