The Vrbo team I worked with was very responsive and helpful. Upon check in, the home seemed lovely and we were excited to begin our Valentineâs Day vacation and birthday celebrations. About 15 minutes into checking in we began noticing things that were completely unacceptable for a comfortable stay. * the trash bin was still full from prior visitors. * the ceilings and windows were riddled with Cobb webs ( some with eggs in them) many directly over the beds!* we looked under the beds and there were dirty socks and it looks as if they had never been swept or dusted. * there were rings around the toilet.* stains all over the bedding. After contacting the host and showing them all these issues via photos they offered to send a cleaner over to address the issue. We sat and waited two hours. Not able to unpack or relax whatsoever. Eventually the Vrbo host team explained they did not have anyone who could come out. I let them know we appreciate their honesty and understanding of the issues with the home. I do not believe I was speaking with the actual home owner but a third party service owners use to manage & clean their home rentals. The staff professional but the condition of the house was absolutely unacceptable. We received a refund and turned around and went back home. This place would have been great had it been properly cleaned.
