If i could give less stars i would. Booked this rental for a weekend getaway with my husband based on great reviews and the listing stating it was a 5 min walk from the village. IT IS NOT A 5 MIN WALK. First, we messaged the host 30 min after check in time to ask for the check in information as we were still on our way to the rental. He did not respond until 2 hours after check in time and after i had already called vrbo customer service. The map directions on the listing took us to the complete wrong location. After the host FINALLY sent us the check in information, we found the location differed from the mapped directions that were given through the vrbo app. It was then that we found the location to be an almost 30 min walk from the village and not 5. I then spent 2 hours on the phone with vrbo customer service(mostly on hold) and was promised a full refund by one agent, and then later told that vrbo would have to work with the host to agree to give me a refund. Needless to say, we did not end up staying at the property and are almost 2 weeks post trip with no refund. Will never be booking with this host or vrbo after this experience. Hopefully vrbo and this host do better in the future.
