Room was basically as advertised. It was nice being on the first floor as the elevator often had a line. Onsite staff at the Shoshone were very helpful and polite even though we didn't book through them.Host was welcoming via text but was unaware of some aspects of the building. Responses could sometimes be slow.They provided the wrong gate code to access the parking lot, but I was able to get the correct code from the building reception.Initial communications did not cover important aspects like the community laundry facility location and access code. I had to ask to get that information.The pillowcases in the master bedroom had not been replaced and were dirty.The fireplace was not functional. We did not raise this as we didn't want maintenance people in the unit.It was unclear when trash pickup would take place and no way to take trash out ourselves.It was nice that they had decks of cards and a few other puzzles and games for use by guests.
