Fantastic stay with family and two small dogs. Nice fun backyard for kids and dogs to enjoy. Super quick 3 minute drive up the road to Bronner’s and Frankenmuth downtown. We’ll definitely stay again!

The Christmas house was wonderful. It's a perfect location to shopping, water activities, Frankenmuth activities, and just enjoying a little of "Christmas", even in the Summer. There were so many things we appreciated: a hot shower, plenty of towels, the hot tub (and it was hot when we arrived), coffee & granola bars, popcorn, comfortable beds, good internet, great size kitchen, and even a play set for the kids in the yard. We will come back again.

Luxury Stay!

This property exceeded our expectations. Everything was simple from booking to check in to check out. The house was stocked with items we typically don’t see in rentals such as toiletries, ziplock bags, aluminum foil, and even microwave popcorn! The location was so convenient, only a couple minutes from all the fun in Frankenmuth. Our dogs loved running around the fenced in backyard and the humans loved relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings.

OK stay near Frankenmuth.

Most everything is great. Not a large house, but the open layout makes it well suited for a large family gathering.Missing a cutting board in the kitchen. Made do with plastic plates, but a sizeable cutting board (to go with the decent knife set) would have been nice.The disappointment was the back yard. Maybe the standard is to disregard that area during the winter months, but we wound up having nice enough weather (and a large enough gathering) that using the deck and the back yard was "in play." A generally clean deck and yard (rotting leaves) would have been nice. I cleaned off the deck and deck furniture so that folks could use and feel comfortable. The amount of dog poop in the back yard, however, was unacceptable. Spent WAY too much "family time" cleaning off shoes and then picking up dog crap so that using the firepit could be considered. For all the emphaisis on the back yard area for this property, there should be heavy emphasis on making sure it is clean and usable.

Holiday vacation

This stay was perfect for what we were wanting!! It was so cozy and decorated very cute for the holidays. We were in our own slice of hallmark. We had two couples my son and my mother plus our dogs and this stay was so comfortable. Plenty of space for everyone. It had everything we needed and it was so close to all the major sights. Communication was a breeze and very fast! I truly hope to be able to stay again next year!

Girls Christmas Shopping Weekend

The perfect location right between Birch Run and Frankenmuth for our shopping weekend. The home was clean, cozy and comfortable for groups of 6. Hosts were very accommodating for our needs. We enjoyed our weekend and will book again in the future. Thank you Jason!

Family weekend getaway

Location is convenient. Fenced in backyard was very nice for the kids. Spacious parking, we had six cars one day. House was clean. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. A little cramped for 14 people, however, 12 would be comfortable. The reason I could not give this house a 5 star review is a couple safety concerns we had. The stairway is open on one side without a railing. There was an unsecured attic access door that our 3 and 4 year olds found and opened a wanted to enter. Thank goodness they asked an adult first. I have brought these concerns to the host.

Overpriced for condition of the house.

Checkin was good, communication with the host was superb. The location is excellent. What disappointed us was the condition of the furniture (threadbare split seems) and furnishings (significant rust on bathroom furnishings) and the stains on the carpet bigger than our suitcases. Multiple large carpet stains in both downstairs bedrooms. Dinner plate sized carpet stains at the top of the stairs. If permanent stains are acceptable it makes one wonder about the cleanliness of the rest of the place. Beds are foam mattresses. Another review talked about a mouse sighting. We didn’t see any mice but plenty of bugs. There are multiple access points to the home from under the house.. Anything that is under the home had direct uninhibited access indoors.

Family getaway

A nice home away from home. The decour was welcoming and cute. A nice big kitchen with everything you need. The beds were comfortable. A nice big yard and outdoor seating for socializing. Very close to all the activities available in Frankenmuth and Birch Run. Our family had a very nice time.

House was well stocked, complimentary coffee, granola bars, popcorn, shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Plenty of towels. Nice yard with a swing set for kids, hot tub, fire pit, BBQ grill. Backyard has alot of privacy. Newer wooden privacy fence around backyard. Would have been nice to have window coverings in upstairs bedrooms. Close to Bronners.

Very Nice

My family of 13 was traveling from all over the country for a family reunion in Saginaw, MI. The Birch Run Christmas house accommodated 12 adults and 1 infant comfortably for 3 nights. The home was clean with plenty of towels, dishes, and cleaning supplies. The owner responded to my questions quickly and sent me messages to make sure everything was okay.

Perfect Stay!

Our extended family has never taken a trip forfun like this before and we were so happy here! It was really close to all the shopping at Birch Run amd Frankenmuth. The Christmas theme was precious and made it so special 😍 it was also nice that pots, pans, plates, cooking spray, and cleaning supplies were already there. I also appreciated the communication feom the owner before and during our stay.

Visit to Frankenmuth

This property was very nice, located conveniently and accommodating. There was only one issue we noticed and that was the Air Conditioning. It was a very hot week-end and the house did not seem to cool down all weekend. We went out and purchased fans so we could help cool things off. We also ended up on not bringing our dogs with us. Is that portion of our rental/fees refundable or non-refundable? Everyone had a great time. There was always plenty to do to keep busy during our very short stay. We will keep you in mind for future trips!

Our stay was nice, but did have a few issues. It seemed to us that the house was in the process of being updated. Some things to note: the staircase did not have a railing so we had to watch the kids as they were up and down. There also weren't any window coverings on the 2nd floor which made it difficult for sleeping. We did have a few mouse sightings which was quite the adventure. Overall, the layout was great and the house was very cozy. The 2nd floor sleeping arrangement was great for kids and tvs everywhere! I'm sure the issues we did have will be resolved as they continue to update the house.

Great location for a Girls Weekend

We had a great girls getaway weekend at this location. The house was exactly as shown, lots of room for us all with some fun Christmas decor. The beds & linens were super comfortable and we enjoyed using the firepit and hot tub. Everything we could need was included and our host was attentive and quick to respond to messages. 5 minute drive to Frankenmuth and we enjoyed the peace and quiet of being just outside of town.

Location is great

We had a very enjoyable stay! The house is clean, roomy, and in a wonderful location. Plenty of sleeping room and beds were comfortable. Very quiet location. Everything you could need is pretty much provided. Can’t wait to comeback and stay again.

Family vacation

Very clean, convenient, and surprisingly roomy. We had 8 people and didn't even use one of the bedrooms. Hot tub was nice. Host was responsive to texts. Easy access to Birchrun and Frankenmuth.
