The breakfast was wonderful and fresh, beats a chain hotel hands down! Nice to be welcomed in someone's home like that! Loved the view of the garden from the breakfast room. Bedroom was nice n cosy too (though cld do with changing the yellow paint ;-) bathroom very modern with a good shower. We only stayed one might but if we went via Birmingham again wld definitely go back. Many thanks and good luck with the kids!
Needed an overnight stay for the airport, very cosy and quiet. Would definitely use again, only 5 mins from airport parking, far better than a travelodge
Brilliant contact before our stay , friendly welcome, lovely accommodation very clean and the breakfast was lovely too. We would definitely stay again .
Stopped here for 1 night, room was nice and clean but it is a B&B and not a hotel.
The host was lovely and breakfast was awesome but bed was hard, TV didn't work and was a good 1.5 miles away from anywhere else i.e. pub or such for an evening meal.
On a plus point it is walkable from both NEC and the international railway station (30 mins or so)
A countryside BnB, extremely convenient for the NEC and Birmingham Airport.
Camilla is a most welcoming host and we had a very comfortable stay, with a fantastic full English breakfast. We were so pleased to find Church Farm. Thank you Camillađ
Very well hosted, was lovely to see the horses in the stables, it is very close to the airport runway but it was actually enjoyable seeing the planes land and take off. Wasnt disterbing in the slightest.
Rooms were clean and well stocked with tea coffee etc.
Breckfast was amazing.
And heating worked very well.
We visited the local pub for a meal and had a wonderful meal, lovely ambiance and lovely staff. A well stocked newsagents opposite to get any extras needed.
15 mins from the nec which was perfect for our stay.
Best place to stay near BHX Airport. It is a peaceful and quiet farm with adequately sized and clean rooms. You can get to the airport in less than 8 minutes (and thatâs with all the confusing construction going on around there!). Word to the wise: follow Google Maps â it is accurate and up to date with all the construction detours. It will direct you to Church Lane; once you turn onto Church Lane, start looking out for the white B & B sign (before the big church). Turn left there and then take the left split, then youâll find yourself at this Bed & Breakfast. My flight was early so I didnât take the breakfast.
Lovely little hotel. I arrived and departed in the dark so didnât see much of the surroundings. It has a nice countryside feel to it with the converted barns.
I found I could hear guests next doorâs conversations and wake up alarms.
The biggest thing for me however was a giant spider that appeared on my bed at 4am as I was getting ready. I guess being a rural location that can be expected however, it has deterred me from returning to the hotel.
The owner was an absolute delight and so lovely to chat with. We were able to walk to our festival at the NEC. I would have like mor variety for breakfast. Perhaps scrambled eggs. I also would have liked access to a fridge to store some drinks and snacks.
This is a beautiful British British farmhouse and exactly what I hoped for when booking last minute. The host was fantastic and breakfast and accomodations were remarkable. I wish we could have stayed longer.
