It’s not the Hilton…

No trash can liners in trash cans but they said they don’t use them. Weird… Balconies are not personal. Why??? Breakfast was so horrible I would’ve complained if it was free. I was actually scared to eat it. Parking was not clear, didn’t know what to do. It’s a cheap hotel disguised as a Hilton.

NICE STAY...BUT

WHILE MY EXPEREICNE IN GENERAL WAS POSITIVE AND THE ROOM COMFORATABLE,THE SHUTTLE TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT WAS GREAT. THERE WERE DISAPPOINTING ITEMS. i HAD TO TELL THE FRONT DESK ON TWO CONSECUTIVE DAYS ABOUT THE COLD WATER FAUCET NOT WORKING BEFORE IT WAS FIXED. TOLD HOUSEKEEPING ABOUT CONDITIONER CONTAINER BEING EMPTY WITH NO REFILL TV SCREEN WAS DIM AND COULD BARELY SEE IMAGE IF VIEWED OTHER THAN RIGHT ON. ONCE AGAIN REPORTED WITH NO FEEDBACK FROM HOTEL ON ISSUSE. ROOM ITSELF WAS FINE, SO IT IS ALL A MATTER OF WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU.

Disappointed

Our check in gentleman was very nice and helpful. Every employee we encountered was very polite and friendly. But, we stayed in room 609 and that floor had no ice maker even though the signs said ice maker on every floor. We had no Kleenex in our room and only 1 bar of soap . When we stepped out of the elevator , the smell of the 6th floor was bad . It smelled like a bad chemical smell, similar to old and musky .For the price of the room , we were very disappointed in this Hilton . Definitely could use some updated at this Hilton .

"Never Staying Again"

Needs someone to greet you coming in. Need more employees. Chef salad from the restaurant was only lettuce, and a few croutons. No dressing. Paid Alot of money for it. Leaving early, no coffee anywhere. No air conditioner, was not working. Need to stay again tonight; going to find another hotel.

Great stay! Hotel was clean (even through renovations). Loved airport shuttle service, which was hard to find for downtown Birmingham properties. We arrived at 11, with a check in time at 4. They offered to hold our bags since we had to be at an event at 2. As we were about to leave, our room was ready. Had dinner at the restaurant downstairs. Flatbread and sweet potato fries was $20 (very reasonably priced) and tasted great! Only complaint was road noise, cars revving engines as they drove by. Would recommend to anyone needing an overnight stay in Downtown Birmingham.

Bad experience

Check in was fine. When we got to our room it smelled like someone just smoked weed in our room and the ac was off so it was 80 deg in the room. Went to take a shower and the main shower head and pipe were leaking and flooding the shower as the drain wasn’t working. Went to go have dinner down stairs and the bar staff was pretty rude to only find out they didn’t start serving dinner u til after 5. We found this out as we were trying to order since we were given menus and had already ordered two drinks. The 3 peloton were all broken in some way. Tried using the one that had all of the parts and the screen would actually boot- but still had issues with the equipment. The bathrooms down on the LL were trashed in the morning with the cans overflowing and the toilets were pretty gross. The only high point of this stay was the guy running the shuttle was extremely helpful. Homeless like to hang out around this area so just be careful traveling or walking locally.

Such a great place when visiting UAB clinics!

I stay here when I have visits to UAB. It is quick walk to all clinics, and their shuttle driver was so pleasant and knowledgeable.He has been there a long time and can tell you everything you need to know when navigating all of the different clinics.

I came in thinking my wife was staying overnight at UAB hospital. I literally was in the room for 5 minutes and they told us we could leave that night ! Sad that I couldn’t get a refund or at least half . Done with Hilton
