The hotel was relatively quiet and provided what I needed for my stay. This property is definitely showing signs of age- it's a bit dirty, but for the price it's about what you'd expect. The staff were all friendly and courteous and there were some food options a short walk down a steep road.

Room, bathroom, and beds were clean, but the whole building was run down, neglected, and in needed of repairs. While this facility is in a suburb of Birmingham, it's in the certain part of town that has trouble.

It’s the most simple place. You get for what you pay. The staff is very nice and helpful though. However, the smell of sweat in those rooms are impregnated on the walls. It is not a good area. You will see people out of their rooms smoking and drinking.
