Paper thin walls/doors made for som wrestlers sleep with other guests being loud Other than that it was nice Also, no elevator that I was aware of made luggage a little bit of a pain

The parking area was safe right behind the building. The cleanliness was unmatched and the very helpful staff was amazing. The sheets, towels and shower were very clean. We will be returning again!

The Painted Lady is more of a boarding house than a hotel It does have cutely decorated rooms and a clean facility. The coffee and tea station was fine. We had to use our towels to block the very bright light streaming around the door from the hall into our room all night making it difficult to sleep. Parking is down the street 1/2 a block. Very stripped down tiny lobby. Not sure the price is commensurate to accommodations.

It is it used to be a brothel, so be prepared for the Staff to help you with your luggage up the staircase. Overall peace and quiet is what you will get at this hotel. There are several restaurants and cafés within walking distance from the Hotel. Highly recommended!

Nice, interesting spot to stay in Birmingham.

Quirky little place to stay. Roomy room, comfy bed, cozy linens. Communal fridge and coffee/tea area was unique. Quiet at night. Just right!

Everything to like, a brand new place with a well thought out conversion of an interesting building into a true boutique hotel, rooms are a really nice (as in large) size, more than agree with all the other comments on the ultra comfy beds/sheets, no street noise and easy parking outside, just a few blocks to 2 fave restaurants in one direction and more central places in the other, wish them well and will be staying here next visit to B'ham for sure.
