Liked: Cleanliness
We enjoyed the park-like setting of this quiet property. It was the perfect gathering space for our sibling reunion. The house was acceptably clean. The freezer does need to be wiped out.It was too windy to be outside the first days but our last morning was beautiful. We would have enjoyed eating breakfast on the patio but there weren't any chairs to sit. A grill is listed as an amenity but the owner sent a note saying we had to get propane and clean the grill before use. The owner should provide propane and make sure the grill is clean. That's a typical service provided at other VRBOs. It's an inconvenience for out of town guests to look for a place to fill a tank and to take time to clean a grill before using it. Check in is at 4 pm so it's hard to fill a tank and clean a grill before preparing an evening meal. My biggest fright came when I inquired about the access code before checking in. The owner said I only had an inquiry, not a reservation. I sent her a copy of my confirmation message with itinerary number and proof that the unit was billed to my credit card 2 months ago. Fortunately we got our stay but that was nerve wracking. Whatever glitch there is on the owner side needs to be fixed. We would stay here again. It was a good location and comfortable.
