The Stable was as expected, the pictures represent the property perfectly. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend and return.
The Stable is on a site with quite a few other holiday lets, all qwerky and luxurious in their own right. Grounds were nice and we walked through the woods to the Clubhouse of the neighbouring golf club.
Recommations from us, flip the lounge and the bedroom and then you have an ensuite. Swap the double (mattress was amazing) for a king, there's plenty of room.
I wasn't expecting hot tub but husband saw on some documentation it had a hot tub, suggest that gets removed to avoid confusion.
Apart from that very enjoyable stay, thank you.
The property is on an estate away from the main road and with very little artificial light. At night it is very dark and lovely and quiet. There are a number of properties on the site. each is self contained with an allocated parking space.
Very good pre-arrival information 48 hours in advance.
Did drive past the entrance on first attempt. Location information could be improved to include the What 3 Words location - ///ruin.thirsty.nicer
Further contact was received once we had checked-in using the tablet device just inside the front door. The Stable is a converted 3 stall stable and matches the listing description. The original brick floors have been retained and they do slope to a drain point (filled in) in each stall. There is plenty of space for 2 adults and a medium sized dog. Towels provided were large and soft. The mattress was not ideal for us (personal preference) but the bedding and bed linen was luxurious. The kitchen is well equipped and fully functional. There is a dining table with 2 chairs. The lounge area was comfy. The bathroom is up 2 steps. No bath, but shower enclosure is spacious.
We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the property.
Generally happy with this quirky place with many stylish pieces of furniture. Kettle and coffee maker unnecessarily designery and complicated and no immediate private space to sit outside the property (itâs in the car park). Some residual dust on floor and cobwebs in ceiling but lovely clean cotton bedding. Glad we booked and muchly enjoyed the âForget Me Notâ walled flower garden selling plants, coffee and cake opposite The Stables.
We had a lovely week. The only thing to be aware of is that check in info is only sent 48hrs before check in. This was fine, but I was a bit worried it was a scam. The communication was fine, other than this issue.
