Great stay! My husband and I were traveling with our adult son and girlfriend, and had plenty of room. The back deck with the hot tub was great. Location for us worked out perfectly as we visited Stokkur Geysir and Gullfoss to the North and Kerid Crater to the South. We walked down to Restaurant Mika and the wine bar at FriĂ°heimar for our 2 dinners which were delightful. Also the coffee machine was a huge hit for us. We cooked breakfast both mornings with a full kitchen. The TV and WiFi worked great. We had a lovely time and Silvia was great at explain everything

Golden Circle Villa in Reykholt, South Iceland

My family and I had a great experience staying at this lovely home located in a quiet neighborhood just a couple hours east of the Keflavik airport. It didn’t seem too far of a drive, however. The home was just as pictured and very well equipped with most everything we needed during our week-long stay. There were five of us – Grandma (me), my daughter, son-in-law and their two teenage boys. We had plenty of room for all. The primary bedroom had its own bathroom/shower facilities and then there was another large bathroom with two sinks, a tub and shower. Both were updated with plenty of room and supplies. A couple of dinners were cooked on the outdoor grill, and we enjoyed eating out on the big deck overlooking a nice little pond. We also booked lunch at the Fridheimar Greenhouse tomato farm which was easily within walking distance of the house. An added bonus to our stay. The owner was a great communicator and responded quickly to all my questions, which was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a quieter location.

Great access to golden circle- amazing hot tub

Silvia was an amazing host. The house is walking distance to Froheimer restaurant. The wine bar is an absolute gem!The hot tub views are fantastic and the location has great access to golden circle!

Excellent Golden Circle Location

Excellent, updated, modern apartment. Good location to explore Golden Circle. We enjoyed the hot tub on site and the Tomato farm nearby. Very spacious, The hosts were easy to communicate with prior to arrival and were very responsive to our questions. Great stay in Iceland!

Fantastic Home in Excellent Location

This is an amazing property. The listing does not do full justice to the thoughtful design and amazing array of amenities that are offered. This is a perfect base for exploring the Golden Circle, within very easy driving distance to all of the circle's highlights. Just minutes away from FriĂ°heimar, and also convenient to other restaurants, grocers, and a petrol station. Strongly recommend for any groups looking for a place to stay outside of Reykjavik.

Super comfortable home for 8 travelers. Modern appliances in a Smart house. Beautiful view from the back patio resulting in fantastic northern light photos. Quiet area, hosts are very helpful and accommodating. Will likely use again upon returning!

Modern space with great view

I stayed at this property with my wife, our one year old son, and my parents. The location is perched up on a hill with a great view overlooking the river. The house itself is modern and beautifully designed. Extremely functional great room with kitchen island and large couch to accommodate our relatively large family. Comfortable beds and nice extra touches including chocolates on arrival. Large deck with hot tub; perfect to relax and take in the views. Property managers were exceptional; friendly, accommodating, and easily accessible. We would love to visit again!!!

Heart of Iceland

We were a group of 8, four adult couples who wanted to stay in the countryside of Iceland. The home is beautiful and well equipped with modern conveniences. The master bedroom was very modern and chic. The bathrooms were modern and clean.The other 3 bedrooms were comfortable. The location was perfect for our exploration of Iceland's waterfalls. Our favorites were Skogafoss and Gulfoss. The Mika restaurant down the hill had great pizza. The host and hostess were very friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again.

Amazing trip

Peaceful and Beautiful

This was our first trip to Iceland and this property was our first lodging out of four. Stayed two nights and everything was as close to perfect as it could be. After our trip, everyone in my party agreed that this unit was the nicest place we stayed at! The hosts are nearby and attentive to any needs you may have. We would definitely stay here again if we get the opportunity to do so.

Wonderful home

The best-equipped rental we’ve stayed in — tea, coffee, kitchen supplies. Beautiful, spotless hole in great location. Beautiful hot tub, incredibly accommodating and helpful host. Convenient to Geysir, Gulfoss, delicious restaurants, mini mart and grocery not too far. Our kids loved the home as well. My family wanted to spend the entire week here!

Great place

Well what can i say from the time we opened the door we was so impressed. It was like going into a show home off a property program off the telly. There was nothing i would change about the villa hot tub we didn't use but that was due to weather and also being out all day sightseeing. The host was fantastic letting us know about weather and also if we had anything we wanted was not a problem. If you are looking to stay in this area do not hesitate to book this villa. One of my boys is already looking to book with some of his friends and i wouldn't book anywhere else when i go back. Great location for the golden circle but you will have to have a car but you are close to some waterfalls, geysers and also not to far from Vic black beach which i loved all in all a great stay and great country very friendly i loved it

Die Lage des Objekts sowie die Hilfsbereitschaft der Vermieterin sind hier besonders hervorzuheben. Komplett neuwertiges Haus mit liebevoller, persönlicher Einrichtung und kompletter Ausstattung. Gerade in dieser Umgebung gibt es unheimlich viele tolle, beeindruckende SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten mit kurzen Fahrzeiten. Selbst das Restaurant MIKA in diesem kleinen Örtchen Reykholt hat uns grandiose Speisen bereitet. Auf jeden Fall empfehlen wir dieses Haus gerne jedem weiter. Herzliche GrĂŒĂŸe an die Gastgeberin Silvia.
