House was as described and suited our family of 2 parents and 2 kids perfectly. Place had everything we needed for a long weekend (we didn't cook much.) Prior review mentioned the stained carpeting (looked like pet pee stain and/or maybe some coffee dribble)... that's still there but wasn't wet as they described. Other than that and a broken decorative plate, everything was in great shape, very comfortable, and cleaned well. We never got to use the hottub and firepit as it rained both nights; both added nice gathering spots for fairer nights. 2 maybe 3 cars tops would fit in driveway. And not sure I'd want to stay if roads were slick (lots of super steep and tight turns on very narrow streets), but that's me, I'm not well practiced on snowy/icy roads (plus don't have AWD which would be crucial.)
Good communication from property manager (altho you get some stuff in advance by email and other by text... would prefer everything on an email so can printout before leave (cell service and data did get iffy as we were driving in to Boone.)
And like the name... the views were magnificent. Perfect morning sunrise view, especially from upstairs loft which looked over the treetops. The deck on main floor was lovely to sit out on too, especially for morning coffee. Would not hesitate to stay at Aspen View again.
