If you're looking for a view go here- if you're looking for ammenities dont expect them to work and don't expect the owner to care or the propery manager to answer. If youd like to look at the view while on the phone with vrbo support for hours trying to be able to leave the property this is the one tor you!
Our girls ended up able to use the downstairs floor all to themselves with the projector and hot tub, which left my husband and I free to have the upper floor all to ourselvesâŠ.with the amazing view!
Was a beautiful view. The cabin was clean and very cute. Loved the setup for pets. Very pet friendly. The only issue we had was the hot tub was out the entire stay, but not from lack of trying to get it fixed. Was just unable to fix it. The owner was very communative and responded quickly. We ran out of propane for the fire place the first night and a new propane tank was there the very next day before we got back from our morning hike. Overall would definitely come back.
Everything was great except the hot tub was out of order during our stay. Besides that though everything was clean and there is plenty of entertainment and great views
We stayed here to celebrate a milestone birthday and the views from the cabin were beautiful. The space itself was comfortable and had nice amenities like the game room and outdoor area.During our stay we ran into a few issues. We communicated these issues to the host during our stay and he was (quickly) responsive in trying to help troubleshoot and resolve the issues. We appreciated this greatly. Overall the location and views were great, and we made the most of our stay.
This place is exactly what we needed. The only bad thing we have to leave so soon. Canât wait to come up again. Thank you so much for supplying us with the Christmas tree.
The view was magical and steps away from great hiking trails. The cabin is super comfy and the fireplace was amazing! Minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, Ingles, Mercier Orchard, and great restaurants. Scott was extremely responsive to our needs which was very appreciated. The kitchen is very basic so bring your favorite kitchen tools if you plan to stay in to cook and dine. We will be back for a future adventure!
The views are STUNNING! The pictures do not do it justice for how beautiful it is looking out/ off the back porch. The cabin is cozy and exactly what we wanted for our getaway! Convenient to downtown while being out of the fuss!
Had an absolutely amazing time! It was very clean and odor free, especially for a pet friendly cabin :)And above all else, The view is absolutely second to none!
This cabin is great! Fun for adults, kids and furbabies. Close to everything, but also feels private being at the top of the mountain. You can walk right to the trails for some daily hiking. Nothing can beat the view!! We will be back.
Beautiful views. Comfy house with everything you need for a relaxing time. Close enough to town but hidden away on top of the mountain. Amenities as described.
It was private. The third bedroom is a pull out couch with surrounding curtains. It was very pet friendly. Loved the little fenced area and the closed in deck where our dog are safe to roam outside. One rocking chair is broken. The kitchen is under equipped for six guests. There are only six plates TOTAL, leaving nothing extra to serve food on - like a plate for biscuits at breakfast. I didn't use the main teflon pan because it was so scratched. So, cooking for six was a real challenge. The view is as beautiful as expected. We are grateful for the stay.
Itâs a nice place to relax. The view from back is very pretty. It needs updating for sure def dated and the fireplace doesnât work. We thought we were doing something wrong but I see from other reviews itâs been a constant problem so Iâm sure they are aware of this . The owner was responsive. They provide a lot of great information. It is not a place you should try to trailer something to unless you clear first that there is nothing in spot left by owners( in our case a motorcycle was stored. Even then it will be quite a challenge. Would recommend if youâre looking to relax and hang out
beautiful view. A responsive property manager but there are several areas of deferred maintenance. Brought to the managers attention and she acknowledged it was being dealt with.
Overall, we had a wonderful family vacation in Blue Ridge. And the cabin was a big reason why. Really enjoyed morning coffee on the deck, listening to nature and taking in the incredible views. The location is great, with only a short yet scenic drive to downtown. The cabin was spotless, however there is a lot of wear and tear that needs some attention. Nothing major to effect your stay. Though, the photos are old and don't necessarily depict the current set up. The media room sofa is now a futon (so no room to spread out). Most of the supplied DVDs don't work, so bring your own. The foosball table was MIA. And the hot tub had no chemicals when we arrived. I contacted the property manager on a Sunday, and she was very helpful and responsive. She had someone out later that day to treat the water, and was easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed playing table tennis, billiards, and black jack. All in all, this was the most relaxing vacation we have taken, maybe ever. There is a lot to keep you entertained in the cabin and so much to see nearby.
Great place for dogs. Beautiful view. Took a walk on the path several times a day and saw many deer. Scott was easy to communicate with. We will be back! Thanks for having us!
The listing pictures made it seem we were on the lake. We were at the top of the mountain. We did not have a truck to haul the kayaks to the water. There was no Foosball table. The pool table was tiny and frayed from use and only 2 pool sticks had tips and could be used. The hot tub had no was to add water and only 2 jets worked. The bedside lamp in the master is a fire hazard and was not used. The dishwasher had to be slammed shut to work. The showers were terrible. No water pressure. A rocking chair was broken also. Just wished they had been honest with the pictures. Could have brought my truck to transport the kayaks. We survived but was not happy. Wonât ever trust pictures on VRBO again.
This is a beautiful cabin and location, although a little difficult to find. However, the hot tub, one reason I rented this property, was dirty so I called the manager who was very responsive. They had to partially drain the tub so it wasn't hot until the 3rd day so I lost 2 days of the hot tub. It rained so we were inside and found out the fireplace would only stay on for 6 minutes. Management tried to solve the problem over the phone but it could not get resolved. Other than that the cabin was beautiful and quite private. I do believe the hot tub should be checked as the cabin is cleaned. We loved the area!
