Such a cute little cabin!!

Everything for our stay was perfect! Everything was clean and ready for us when we got there and we were able to get a little bit later checkout which was amazing! The beds are comfy and the cabin is very cozy! The stairs are not something i would suggest for the elderly, but you can walk around and down stairs outside if the stairs are a concern to you. The kitchen was mostly fully stocked! I highly recommend staying here, it is very close to all the fun things in blue ridge and is a GREAT value. We loved our stay!

Excellent Stay

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very clean, stocked above expectations and comfortable. The previous renters left a bad smell in the cabin that DJ promptly came out to investigate and help remediate as best she could. We would love to stay here again. Just a warning that the road up the mountain is best to navigate in daylight your first time there.

Weekend Away with Spouse

The cabin was really nice & clean, beautiful view. Loved the swing and rocking chairs. As the host describes, the road to the cabin is rough terrain, with blind hills. And parking is tight for a large SUV, especially when backing out. There is a spiral staircase inside to the master bedroom. The master bathroom has a step-up to the shower & sink. Only mentioning for other guest, especially for older guest or handicapped guest. Overall the cabin was fully stocked and comfortable. We highly enjoyed the ping pong table & hottub. I hope the next guests enjoy staying. We did.

Quiet, Clean, Well Stocked and Comfortable

Very nice cabin in an easy to access area close to Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Everything was very clean and the cabin is well stocked, it has a nice smell of cedar and pine as you enter. Photos could use updating as we brought coffee for the maker pictured on the listing to find out there is now a Keurig instead. The security camera system announcing you’re being recorded any time you enter or exit the cabin is a bit intrusive feeling even though having one outside is to be expected. An announcer telling you someone is watching is not the relaxation sought and if a constant voice of oversight is not for you, move on. Otherwise, a really great cabin with everything desired. The hot tub has a feel of privacy and was very clean. We’ve stayed in dozens upon dozens of cabins across the country and this exceeds expectations and we’d stay again without hesitation.

Cozy and Nice!

The place was cute, clean, and cozy. When we first entered the house the battery from the smoke alarm was chirping. I called DJ and she was there with a new battery within an hour. Driving up the mountains was challenging but I was forewarned by the other's reviews so I made sure we took the SUV. The only issue is that we wish the hot tub was cleaner. But other than that, we really enjoyed our stay at Mel's Cabin.

Cozy cabin in Blue Ridge

We enjoyed our stay at Mel’s cabin. It was very cozy even though we had a couple issues with the heat the gas logs kept us warm. The cabin was well stocked and had a beautiful view. Our boys especially enjoyed the ping pong table and hot tub. Would advise caution when you get the cabin as getting up the mountain and pulling into and out of the driveway when you leave can be a bit tricky. Would overall recommend!

Three Golden Oldies

The cabin was small , but beautiful, We were just three elderly people looking for a quiet weekend. It was wonderful sitting on the peaceful balcony. A deer usually came up each morning. However the inside of the cabin was a little difficult to get around for elderly people, Keep in my we are two 75 year olds, and one 70 year old. The stairs to the bottom half were very difficult to climb (up and down). The bathroom floors downstairs wasn’t very clean. If you take a shower down there, you need some rails to hang on to, the floor is very slick. It was a good place for a young couple to stay, but not for elderly people. The driveway was difficult for an elderly person to get out of. I sort of felt insulted by the envelope on the kitchen table . They wanted you to tip the cabin cleaner even after we had paid a 125.00 cleaning fee up front. I loved the peace and quiet,bu the cabin was not for us. The next time we will choose another cabin,

Beautiful mountain view

The owner had not put in the correct code so we could not initally enter the cabin. The owner responded immediatley to our text and opened the door. The next day, the issue had been corrected. The cabin itself was very nice and comfortable. Mattresses were great. The photo of the driveway is sort of misleading. Like another guest had mentioned, backing out of this onto the road would be challenging especially if you had a large truck or SUV. Good idea to back in your vehicle. You definitely need an AWD or 4 wheel drive to go up the narrow one lane road to get to the cabin. The home itself provides privacy and a beautiful view.

Family getaway. All adults. Plenary of room for us. Cabin was very clean and stocked with what we needed. The hot tub was so relaxing. The cabin was excellent. Close to town if need to go. Will book again!

Property same as in the pictures. Well mantained. Beautiful views of the mountains Drive way needs more gravel. Wifi/internet not available all the time. We enjoyed it and would stay there again. Host responded to inquiries quickly.

Cozy Cabin

We had a great stay with our 4 children. The cabin is very beautiful with a beautiful view. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The cabin was clean and the ping pong table was a success. The hot tub was also great! We had an overall amazing time and experience. I will add that we did go in the month of June and it was pretty warm in the cabin. Did not get cool until around 8:30pm. The thermostat does not allow you to go lower than 73°F. - The temperature inside the cabin remained around 75°-77°. Which after a day of hiking was a negative for us. However, the overall experience was amazing so we will still rate 5 stars. Disclaimer: If you are not used to driving up/down mountains the drive to the cabin can be intimidating but was a cool experience for us Miami folks. Whatever you do, DO NOT pass the cabin. We went up the mountain in our SUV just to explore and it was nearly impossible to turn around. Our car did get stuck and was a mission to get out. - No fault of the cabin owner.

Great Time!!

The cabin was great!! Nice and peaceful! The downstairs bed was comfortable the hot tub was already heated and ready for us when we arrived! The only tip I’d give is to back into the driveway if you are able to it makes getting out a lot easier!! 10/10 do again!!!

Best View in all of Blue Ridge

Three women
. All of us going to spend a weekend together in a cabin, doing something we haven’t done before. This was the perfect propriety. We honestly had such an amazing time!! The home is well-kept. The hot tub was perfect and just what we needed from walking all day. Downtown Blue Ridge is just 10 minutes away. The pictures we took were absolutely stunning!! Thank you for letting us borrow your home for a few days!

Beautiful Cabin

We had a great time staying at this cabin. It was exactly as pictured. We only had one issue. The hot tub was not ready upon arrival. We had to spent the first night heating it before it could be used. It would have been nice to have it both nights. Other than that our stay was wonderful.
