Outstanding Views

Found a long hair on the hand towel in the hall bathroom, internet/cable access was intermittent and frustrating and when I attempted to contact Vacasa they were unresponsive and unhelpful. Directions to the garage parking was not provided and had to figure that out on our own. We had to find an unmarked narrow driveway that wound behind a number of homes. Also, beds and bedding were average/uncomfortable at best. We were directed to use the alarm system but it was not activated when we arrived. Driveway was very steep and should have been disclosed.

Lovely Bodega Bay Property

Four adults stayed here for 2 nights. Great view of the bay and a central location for our activities. Solid communication all via email, no issues at all. Would definitely stay here again!

Sea View house

The house is beautiful with an amazing view. We enjoyed the house very much. There were a few things to tell you about. 1. The key pad on the out side door did not work. We tried it many times. I finally called the contact number and they helped us get in to the house. 2. The next thing was there were no paper towels or napkins anywhere. There were only a few extra paper towels in the garage but not many and no napkins at all. 3. There were no bathmats for the showers. We used some towels because there was nothing else. That being said, it is a lovely house and we would love to stay there again.

We were there from 4:00 PM Friday to 10:00 AM Sunday - 42 hours. 16 or so of those hours we were asleep. 18 of those hours we did not have electricity. Cold and dark when the sun goes done at 5:00 PM.

Deception

Property internet did not work properly and owner knew it was defective. Tv’s were shown in all bedrooms but none worked. AC was advertised but nonexistent; fortunately did not need it. Bedsheets we’re low quality. Good view, decent house. Bad internet is totally unacceptable in this day and age. Owner knew it was deficient by notes posted. It was not a general outage but one specific to this property. Also grill was never fixed or replaced as promised.

Amazing house!

This is an absolutely beautiful house overlooking the bay. It has 180° views from the upper floor. The house is very well appointed and comfortable in every way. We had a fantastic time there and wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Weekend

We enjoyed our stay. The listing was very accurate. The reservation and check-in process were more lengthy than I have experienced in the past, with more documentation in multiple formats required -- written and verbal. The property was lovely, clean, with great ocean views and lots of light. Birds abounded in the area and it was a moderate walk to the beach which we took advantage of several times during our stay. All in all a great weekend.

Bodega beach house

The home was great. It is in a nice location, clean, and well equipped. It has great views of both Bodega Bay and Doran Beach. However, the communication with the Turnkey people was awful! We had a problem with a lock on the propane valve, so the cook top, heater, and fireplace did not work for almost 24 hours. We finally had a gas guy come out to fix the problem, so things were working by the second afternoon. We were celebrating my husband's 65th birthday and had planned to cook a special dinner for him. Since the cooktop didn't work, and we kept waiting for someone to turn on the propane ( no one came until the next day), we ended up with a horrible take out meal. It took me 1 week, and many phone calls to the Turnkey staff, to receive some type of reimbursement for our inconvenience.

Getaway to Bodega Bay

We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home in Bodega Bay! The house has the best view possible of the bay and was conveniently located. There was plenty of room for the eight of us to enjoy our time and not be on top of each other. The pool table and ping pong table in the garage and the various board games were able to keep our teen and pre-teen kids occupied on a rainy day. We would highly recommend this house and intend to stay there every time we go to Bodega Bay.

Fantastic view and house, with a few glitches

Fantastic view and house, with a few glitches: No dish drainer, no kleenix, DVD didn't work. Obscure directions: Simply clarify that the ten-digit Schlage, to the right of the garage, opens from outside into the garage, Then the lockbox in the garage gets you into the house, while lockbox-2 is outside and its key is a backup to the Schlage. The driveway lacks the reflectors they talked about, and is extremely easy to miss. That's all very easily fixed. But still, fantastic view and house.

Nice house, good location.

Had a very nice stay at this house, which was pretty much as advertised. Stunning sunset views over Bodega Bay. The house was clean and pretty well-equipped for our needs. Appreciated the spice rack in the kitchen and the pool table in the garage, and the DVD of "The Birds", which we never got around to watching. Some minor quirks and annoyances prevented leave it short of a 5-star review, including the tub in the master bath that wouldn't fill because of a leaky stopper and the ADT alarm panel that was lit up all night long right next to the bed. As someone else noted, the mattresses are hard. AT&T cell coverage is poor, but Verizon is OK; wifi is solid. And it's surprisingly hard to ventilate the place. But we had a really positive experience overall and would consider a return visit in the future.

Great Stay

Overall a great property. We had a full house celebrating a birthday and there was plenty of room for all of us to run around as well as come together. It was clean (overall) a great location and we truly enjoyed our stay. One comment on cleanliness, we discovered upon checking out that there were what looked like a bunch of dead bugs against the wall behind the futon. We didn't look closely when first making the bed but when putting the couch back together we noticed them.
