The unit overlooks the treetops, where you can watch the sunset and see the downtown Boise State Capitol lit up at night. We loved the distance to the trails, plus access to coffee and food. If you are okay with doing 30 stairs to reach the unit, you will enjoy it. Parking is on a somewhat steep drive, but it's covered and your own.
Fantastic location on the north end of Boise. Hiking/MTB trails are 2 blocks away, while downtown is a 5 minute drive away. Hyde Park, a cool cluster of neighborhood restaurants, is within a short walk as well. The unit itself is a nicely renovated and slightly quirky bungalow perched on a steep hill. There's a limited view of downtown Boise from the front porch. It's well-furnished and the kitchen is decently equipped. As others have noted, you have to climb a steep driveway and 2 flights of stairs to enter. Not a good option for people with limited mobility.
Loved the Perch! The location is perfect, close to trails, Hyde Park and downtown just 10 minute walk. Property has great views and has everything for relaxing and enjoying time with family. It is warm, comfortable, big TV and fantastic washer/dryer. Listing is very accurate regarding steep steps and parking. Will definitely stay here in the future!
The property is beautifully designed and appeared to be brand new. Both bedrooms were good sized and the bed was comfortable. It wasnât an issue for us but the stairs are steep and could be very difficult with small children or folks who struggle with stairs.
