This is a guest house next to our house in equestrian Bonita, a community to the south of downtown San Diego. Your casita is within 15 minutes from the airport with nearby freeway access to allow you to get to most places within 20 minutes or less. the property is gated, with plenty of parking and you will be able to come and go directly into your own room. The location easily accesses downtown San Diego, Sea World, Coronado, the naval bases, beach areas, the San Diego Zoo, North Island Credit Union Ampitheater, Sesame Place and Tijuana. The ocean breezes refresh the area. Las Palmas Casita is a terrific home base while visiting San Diego and is also a refuge in the middle of the city, although some of our guests prefer to stay here poolside, away from crowds.
We are a family with 3 of our 7 grown children at home. You will see us in the yard and out by the pool and we will treat you as our welcome guests. You may also enjoy our dogs and the assortment of chickens which we keep. The casita and our house are situated on 2 1/2 acres full of trees and birds. The room is furnished with a king sized bed, a bathroom, a kitchen, and it’s own entrance and parking.
We look forward to making your stay in San Diego county a pleasant one. Please be aware that, if you are looking for a romantic place for two and don’t want to see or interact with your hosts, this isn’t what you are looking for. The casita is private for our guests, but we will be at the property. We enjoy meeting our guests and would also like to enter the swimming pool on a hot day. If you have any questions, please send an “inquiry” through the VRBO application. We would be glad to hear from you and usually respond the same day.

Exceptional environment and hospitality services

A hidden gem of tranquility in an urban setting. Jenny and her entire family were very accommodating and welcoming, not to mention generous with access to additional amenities. Worth every penny and perfectly located to my family’s location. Would recommend for a couple or family of 3 comfortably with air mattress they would provide. 1st Vrbo experience

Property was exactly as stated, more so in my opinion. The grounds are nicely manicured, pool and jacuzzi clean and just a few feet away from the casita. Jennifer was super welcoming and available when needed. The casita itself was as described, perfect for my daughter and I. In and out privileges with gate code. Easy access to highway and shopping. Oasis Awaysis...

The hosts were all very kind and welcoming. Great property that is like a small oasis, just a hop, skip and jump from all that San Diego has to offer. While the hosts were great, we absolutely LOVED spending time with Ms. Tara, Maxi and Kizzy, the dogs. Anytime we were in the Casita, Kizzy was stationed right outside the door. Bonita Casita

Let's start with the accessibility the property provides to all the great locations in the Surrounding San Diego area. Being so close to Highway 54 is excellent. Two turns and really close to the onramp is super convenient. The airport is 15 - 20 minutes from the Casita. The next topic of note is the property. With over 2 and a half acres of mini farm it is an oasis in a busy San Diego area. The destination is full of beautiful trees, plants and flowers that make you feel far away but in reality really close to all that southern California has to offer. Inside the Casita was neat, clean, and tidy. The bed is comfortable and cozy. Having the galley kitchen provided a great place to cook a small meal. Ocean breeze flows through the property and feels great. The wifi has excellent bandwidth if you need it. However, the outdoor space, pool, jacuzzi and fore pit will make you forget the internet even exists. Last but never least, the hosts are amazing. Roberto and Jenny made us feel welcome. They never imposed and were very attentive to anything we needed.

A Perfect Place

We had a perfect place: security, privacy, cleanliness, and peaceful place to stay while visiting our son and his family. The weather was too cool to use the pool, but it was beautiful.
