The cabin was welcoming with lots of attention to detail. It was well stocked, and Lisa was an excellent communicator. The master bedroom was large with a super comfortable bed. It was the perfect home away from home and we hope to visit again!
Great communication with the host. The cabin was very well-stocked, comfortable, and in a great location for hiking and other activities in Banner Elk and the surrounding towns.
The property was as listed and conveniently located. We had a great stay until checkout when I was texted by the property manager and accused of bring a pet. Apparently, the housekeepers found dog food but it was definitely not from us. The downstairs basement had an odor and there was only 4 towels left. I accidentally only selected one guest and we had the allowed amount of 6. Make sure you are accurate in the reservation.
Lisa and Frank are the perfect hosts. We needed for nothing! We so appreciate being able to bring our dogs. The to-go coffee cups were so appreciated when we left this morning.
This property was perfect for my three-day stay. The town center is within walking distance, as long as you donât mind a few hills on the return. I had to work remotely during my visit, and the Wi-Fi was exceptionally fastâideal for both work and streaming. The bed was very comfortable, and the deck was a highlight. I enjoyed sitting outside after dark with minimal issues from mosquitoes. Lisa was incredibly kind and responsive. Truly one of the best rentals I have stayed in.
It was perfect. Itâs conveniently located near Banner Elk restaurants and the park, as well as other activities. Decorated in a welcoming mountain style with lots of bear accents, it had everything we needed. My husband and I had a relaxing visit and plan to return. Lisa (the owner) was a great communicator and made me feel like we were already friends!
This was a great family trip. We came in for a long weekend and the space was perfect for our family. It was a perfect walking distance to downtown Banner Elk for the dogs and we will most certainly be back!
3of us came to the mountains on motorcycles for fellowship and fun. Having a garage was a nice bonus. We walked to town for dinner and while there wasn't a sidewalk some of the time it was wide and we could walk beside the creek. I would definitely stay again
From the time of booking the communication was prompt and extremely thorough! When we walked into the cabin it was pristine and had welcome board with our names with a basket full of snacks!! Perfect for our family of 4! We will be back!
This was our second time staying here, and hope to return in the future. The cabin is very clean, well stocked, and dog friendly! Close to plenty of hiking trails, restaurants, and shopping nearby. We had a great time!
The house was exactly as advertised, and it was clean and welcoming. Lisa responds to messages promptly, and directions to the house are spot on. Only negative is the steep, narrow driveway. I have a big truck, but a small car can park easily.
This mountain cabin features wrap around decks that are nestled in rhododendron and offer some privacy. It is perfectly situated for a relaxing Banner Elk town visit, a Beech Mt. adventure, and treks into Boone. We enjoyed the games and snacks provided by the host. The house offered everything we were looking for. And the host was very proactively available.
This cabin is a favorite of ours. This was our second stay here. Each time the owner has always made the check-in and check-out process seamless. She always communicates in a timely manner to make sure you have all you need for your stay in the Banner Elk area. This cabin is conveniently located less than a mile from the Banner Elk town center making it easy drive to our favorite breakfast spot the Banner Elk Cafe. Our favorite feature of the cabin is the fireplace. We sat in front of it for hours just chatting. The owners also make sure you have plenty of wood to burn. We will definitely be heading back to this cabin in the near future!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in A Frame of Minds that was so easy to get to, first class in comfort, and very pleasing mountain decor that has a very thoughtful host. Plus after experiencing having a garage with a remote opener is now a must have especially in winter. We would stay here again.
Cabin was nice, clean just a bit pricey for the size since it is smaller than we thought. Lisa the manager was great to communicate with and had everything ready for us. We had a good time.
The house was amazing. We felt very welcomed, and the extent of necessities left for our use was unparalleled. Even down to coffee and snacks, the owners thought of everything! I would without reservation highly recomend "A Frame of Mind" â€ïž
