Overall, my stay was pretty good—the beds were comfortable and the TV was nice. However, for $220 a night, I expected a bit more. The hotel has been renovated from an older motel, but the upgrades felt minimal. The bathroom could have used more attention, and the concrete floors made the room feel cold and not very cozy. I also prefer hotels where the room doors are inside a secured hallway—it would be great if they could eventually enclose the building so the doors aren’t exposed to the outside and accessible to everyone. Lastly, the concrete stairs leading to the second level could really use an upgrade. With a few improvements, the experience could match the price point better.

Nicely updated old motel-come-lodge. Our room was a little musty but opening the balcony door helped. Very convenient location to App State. Floor is finished concrete so helpful if you have a pet or want to avoid hotel carpet.

Love the retro cozy vibe and every thought out detail of this immaculate property. We loved too many things to mention them all-from the cleanliness, friendly staff, and perfect location.
