We had a wonderful time at the Lodge at Twin Rivers. The home is beautifully nestled in the mountains. The family wished for snow and we were blessed with that on our first day. A game changer for our family was the game room! I think that room got the most use in the entire house. I did not realize it was somewhat separate from the house which was a good thing. We could be noisy and not worry about waking the little ones. Special thank you to Heather and Monica and the gentleman that helped out at the house. You were very very nice and so helpful. We appreciate everything you did.
House was large and clean. Great for a large group with lovely indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Loved having the separate game room for the kids early in the morning and the night owl adults. Kitchen was well stocked. Driveway is very steep and would not be navigable in winter without chains. Lights were difficult to locate and need to be labeled. Bedding MUST to be updated. Mattress toppers that did not fit and slide around while sleeping, broken mattresses, and completely flat pillows. For the level of luxury the house appears to be the bedding was below average. Sheetrock missing in one room making every sound in the bathroom behind it audible. Water damage to wall in master bedroom and several wonky air vents around the house. Open stairs and large entryways make blocking areas off for small children and pets difficult.
The cabin was perfect for our group of 14 adults. There was plenty of room! Everyone enjoyed all the house had to offer. This is the perfect house for large groups. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. We would absolutely stay again.
Great house, plenty of room. Location was great and access was easy. We really enjoyed the stay. My parents went with us and they are elderly, the steps were a little tough on them, it would have been nice to be able to use the elevator.
