My husband and I want to especially thank Francisco, a waiter in the “Last Hurrah” a very personable, interesting and knowledgeable man. I especially appreciated and enjoyed both his knowledge of the establishment and a little bit about him. A true asset to your establishment. On the negative side we were quite disappointed in the size of our room. We booked and paid for the same type room as our son and his wife (we were all on a trip together to spend a few days in Boston before embarking on a cruise), yet our room was very cramped and small, very difficult to navigate a path to the bathroom around the luggage. Their room was quite comfortable and ours was so crowded it was not…. Quite disappointing. Other than this disappointment in the cramped quarters in our room the hotel was very nice with an impressive history. The staff (including the waiter in the restaurant for breakfast) were all very friendly and nice. Not sure if on our next trip to visit Boston we want to take a chance on once again getting such a small room. Mary and Arthur. P.S. The room was small but that’s normal in the middle of a large city. The oddest thing is the faucet in the bathroom sink. The water temp kept changing every few seconds from hot to cold to warm. Never able to regulate temp.

Four week trip to see our American friends

Best shower ever, wonderfully comfortable bed. The only disappointment was breakfast for me as I need fruit, oats, and yogurt with proper English tea and skim milk but they did their best. My husband enjoyed American breakfast though. Staff amazing.
