Beautiful spot and cozy yard. I enjoyed sitting in the swing outside and walking around the neighborhood. Even though it was a short stay, it was just what we needed.
My wife and I really enjoyed our three days in Concord. Our flight was late and we arrived late in the evening, but the cottage was easy to find and self check-in was easy.
The cottage was close enough to town and the train to make everything doable by foot. Several restaurants and a small market were just a few minutes away, Thoreau's last home was on the next block, and most of the main historical houses and museums were a pleasant mile or so walk. We also did the few mile Emerson-Thoreau amble to Walden Pond.
As for the space itself, it was simple but well-equipped and clean. We appreciated the quality that went into fixtures like the kitchen sink and laundry machines. Compared to staying at the inns in town, we enjoyed having more privacy, a basic kitchenette, and a little outdoor space. We would happily stay again!
I stayed here about a week and was very satisfied. The apartment is clean and spacious, there's a easy-to-use washer and drawer, and the owner is helpful and responsive. The location is great: a couple blocks from the railroad station and a short walk from central Concord.
