Overall this is an amazing property to stay at while in the area! The listing is exactly as the photos show. Plenty of space for our group of 12. The property owner responded promptly to all questions. Location is close to Boston and a quick trip to Salem! The only things that I would change are replacing the toaster as it only cooked on one side of the bread and maybe consider adding a larger sectional couch or a second couch for the living room space to more comfortably accommodate larger groups. Lastly ensure that the cleaning company addresses the intake vent in the living room, it’s still in need of attention from previous reviews. Otherwise this place deserves 10 stars! Would stay here again when visiting the area!

The house was clean and we had plenty of space for 9 people. We had a 35 minute drive to Salem and 20 minute drive into Boston. We were stuck inside a bit more than we planned due to the nor’easter but we were very comfortable. Thank you for sharing your place.

The living spaces are well thought out, thank you. However, the living room could use a sectional couch. The chairs are not as comfortable for some people and a couch gives more seating options. Island stools are not comfortable. Beds and pillows were great! Areas that need repair/maintenance: *Upstairs bath- left drain does not drain*Downstairs bath does not drain- ankle deep when showering *HVAC vents need to be cleaned *Not enough plates and bowls for as many people that were there - we had 6 people. *Card decks like Uno are missing cards. *Upstairs bath does not have the shampoo/conditioner/body soap dispenser.

The house was very nicely decorated, very clean, and comfortable for 8. We had a small issue with the cleaners not being done when we were arriving and the owner was very communicative and accommodating to help minimize any impact. She was very responsive in answering questions about small things to help make our stay perfect. The sunroom bed is not full size in length, so is really only comfortable for a child. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I'd highly recommend.

Super spacey and clean just not that comfortable to stay in.

The apartment was very nice and loved having 3 full bath rooms for 9 people. The kitchen was great and we loved cooking. The reason we are marking this 3 stars is the furniture except the sofa was not comfortable at all. The lack of places to seat forced us to use uncomfortable foldable chairs. The beds are cheap and creak at the slight move.The apartment was almost impossible to keep at a constant temp. Not sure if the host has it set automatically or it was done manually but your thermostats kept shooting to 86 degrees for the AC and we would set to 70 and and hour later it would go back to 86 making very hot in the unit. It was very annoying.If the host invested in better bar stools, either a sectional or more couches and get better mattresses this would an amazing place to stay.

Great stay for our group running the Boston Marathon!!

The space was clean, spacioous, and easy check in/out. We had a group of is running the Boston Marathon and it worked out great. The rooms were a good size and the beds comfy. My mom slept in the sunroom and it worked out great- though she is 5'1" so much taller it may not have worked well. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we need (plus a few snacks from the host!) To get to downtown you do have to transfer one time- you take a bus (which the stop is close to the house so thats nice) then transfer to the metro. So it does take like 35 minutes all around. Not bad but just be aware of you plan on going back and forth to downtown! Overall, a great stay- no conplaints at all!

I rented the cottage for some of my coaches who were in town for a volleyball tournament. It was the perfect place for them to stay. It was quiet and comfortable after a long day of volleyball. The accommodations themselves were clean and well maintained. Each coach separately messaged me that the house was beautiful. When I had questions, they were answered right away, and the host was very accommodating with my requests. I will happily be sending my coaches back to this lovely property again next year!

NYE getaway

We stayed for our friends and family Annual New years eve getaway. 4 couples plus kids. The place was clean, easy to find, plenty ofclose walking distance to anything you would need. We didn't go to the casino but it's 5 mins away, 10 mins to Boston easy access. Kids had a blast with the arcade machine and snacks provided. Parents enjoyed the space and having the kids occupied.The owner was easily reachable for any questions and did a good job communicating. Would stay here again!

This was a well-appointed property - completely updated and comfortable. Some things to be aware of: 1. This unit is on floors 2 and 3 , so all luggage, etc. must be carried up either one or two sets of steep stairs. 2. There are two bedrooms (plus one very small bed in its own room) and one bathroom on the main floor and two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the upper floor accessed by a steep staircase with very low ceiling height. We were not provided with the key code prior to check in and had to leave messages for the owner multiple times and call VRBO to finally get the code to enter the building. We discovered the upstairs electrical outlets did not work and the owner asked us to find and flip the breaker to fix it. The dishwasher did not work and we did not discover until day 3 that it was unplugged under the sink. I thought these issues should have been identified and fixed prior to our arrival. Otherwise, it was in a quiet neighborhood, had adequate parking, and was not far from main freeways, city attractions and the airport.

Great house!

Since we were three couples, each couple wanted their own bathroom. Although there are three bedrooms on the main floor there was only one bathroom. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the top floor, but oddly the bedroom with the en-suite bathroom did not have a door. The beds were comfortable. The host responded quickly and took care of everything as soon as possible. The location was fine. We just just wished it was closer to downtown Boston. There weren’t a lot of eating options walking distance but what we did find were good. We discovered the back stairway which was so much easier to climb up and down then the front stairway. Overall, it is a great house.Thank you!

3 couples stayed 4 night, the location of a quiet neighborhood was perfect. Easy commute by bus and train into town, or a very doable Uber ride. We did 3 full days of sightseeing and MLB games prior to boarding a cruis ship
