Located on one of the cute streets of Beacon Hill, just steps away from the lovely shops and restaurants on Charles St. This was a true Boston home with the luxury of it being very spacious for our family of 6. Deidre and her daughter, Sidney, have done a great job stocking up all items needed for a comfortable stay (but consider adding some tissue boxes) even down to a pack n' play for babies and highchair and plateware for kids. They were quickly reachable, provided great recommendations in their guide, mattresses and pull out couches were comfortable, having 2 full bathrooms was a game-changer for our family, and everything was clean and stocked. The patio looked lovely for the summer with hanging market lights, but it was cold and rainy during our stay. The washer and dryer were so helpful. Note that the kitchen faucet handle needs fixing. This historic home seems to be in great shape and I love that it's a new listing for families to enjoy while visiting Boston. It's a 1 min walk to delicious Tatte Bakery and Blank Street Coffee shops, 5 min walk to the local train station and CVS, 5 min walk to the river, 7 min walk down to beautiful Boston Common park. Loved this home and this neighborhood!
Great place and close to everything we wanted to do. We had two issues with the place though. One, the bedroom with the en-suite has a mattress that sinks in the middle. Two, we understood (perhaps incorrectly) that there would be a full-sized pullout couch, but we found a twin-sized couch that pulled out onto the floor. In any case, my group would stay here again. Boston is fun!
My family and I had a great time here. We were in Boston for my daughter's graduation and the location was perfect for everywhere we needed to be. It was in the center of all the sites and walking distance to many different places. We all really liked the apartment.
