Amazing time, beautiful place, unbeatable location
Rusty and Melissa were easy to communicate with and great hosts. I can't thank them enough for the time I spent with close friends and family for a July 4th weekend! Would 100% return as a guest.
The property was wonderful and location perfect! So close to everything we didnât even need to rent a car! Although we ate out for many of the meals in Boulder, the kitchen was well stocked. The only issue we had was the hot water broke down due to a boiler issue, but the owner was very responsive. It is an original Boulder House, which we appreciated due to the history of Boulder. We will be back!
Highly recommend this home on the western end of Pearl Street for its accessibility to everything in downtown Boulder and for the homeâs charm and warmth. The owners (Rusty and Melissa) are fantastic hosts!
Great location and perfect for a weekend with friends, with just a couple of caveatsI rented this home for a weekend in Boulder with my two best friends. We chose it over a hotel so we could all stay together, and overall we had a wonderful time! The location truly canât be beat â we were just steps away from fantastic restaurants, shopping, and everything downtown Boulder has to offer. The house itself has a lot of charm. We especially loved the inviting front porch and the bright, sunny sunroom â the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee. That said, there were a couple of things to be aware of. One of the bedrooms and bathrooms is located in the basement. While the space itself was nice (the bathroom downstairs was actually more updated than the one upstairs), the basement had an older, slightly eerie vibe typical of older homes, and none of us were particularly eager to sleep down there. It definitely feels like a basement. Also worth noting: thereâs a separate third-floor unit above the main house, and we could hear footsteps overhead, particularly later in the evening. It wasnât a huge deal, but it did disrupt the quiet a bit.All in all, we really enjoyed our stay â the house was a lovely home base for our time in Boulder. With a little awareness about the basement setup and potential for upstairs noise, Iâd still recommend it to others, especially for its unbeatable location and welcoming common areas.
Pearl St one block away; skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, dogsledding, theatre, concerts all 5 mins - 2 hours away. House - a work of Boulder art! Even Boulder friends loved it. Organization great. No need to contact owners. Will def recommend to visiting friends!
I came to Boulder to care for my son after his ski accident surgery, and this home was perfect for our stay. Located just a block from Pearl Street, it was easy to grab anything we needed. The main-level bedrooms meant my son didnât have to navigate any stairs, and he could comfortably relax outside on either the front porch or back deck to get some much-needed sunlight. The house is well-stocked, incredibly charming, and thoughtfully maintained. Communication with Rusty and Melissa was excellent. I would absolutely stay here again!
We loved our time at this property. Charming and well appointed with lots of character. Having a parking space was key even though we walked everywhere. I knew the location was good but it was even better than I thought. We had dinner at Felix's and West End Tavern - both delicious - both a short walk. Also, Lolita's Market was ideal for basic groceries. Lastly, we walked to Folsom Field for a CU football game. It was a beautiful stroll along the pedestrian creek path and so much less stressful than trying to drive & park. I would HIGHLY recommend this VRBO to anyone visiting Boulder. Thank you for helping make our stay so enjoyable!
This is a beautiful property. The home was built in 1915 and has been lovingly restored and updated. The main level is completely charming with comfy spaces to relax, great beds and a bath with a steam shower and soaking tub. The kitchen is very well equipped with all you need to cook. The basement is a little quirky because its a basement, but it is comfortable. The location is perfect! It is in a lovely residential area and only a one block walk to Pearl Street and shops, restaurants and galleries. There is quite a lot to do nearby. Be aware that there are no TVs if this is important to you - we loved the time without one. There are books and games available, too. One thing I wish we'd realized is that there are dimmers on most of the lights. We thought it was pretty dark in there before we figured that out, but that's on us. All in all, it is a lovely house in a fabulous location and we would definitely stay there again.
We were in town for a family wedding and our star was a 10/10. The property is in the BEST location! Literally steps away from everything you could want and need on Pearl Street. The house itself was beautiful and full of character yet exceptionally clean and tidy. We can't say enough great things about our stay and highly recommend it.
We stayed in Boulder to move our oldest into school. This house was perfectly located to walk everywhere. The property was very clean and well maintained. We had a great time!
We loved our stay here! We stayed with our adult children and had plenty of space. The closeness to Pearl Street was a huge plus. The kitchen was well stocked. We especially liked the outdoor spaces - front porch and deck. Highly recommend staying here!
The house was perfect for the 6 of us. The location was ideal in relation to downtown. The house had a well equipped kitchen. We particularly enjoyed drinking coffee on the front porch in the morning and evenings on the back deck.
The house is very comfortable and nicely adorned. Love the original wooden columns and built-ins. And with just a less than a minute walk to Pearl and a short drive to the trails it couldn't be better! Lots of restaurants with really good food. Great trip
Great location one block off Pearl St. Nice to have some kitchen necessities stocked like olive oil, baggies, spices, etc. Comfortable bedding. Was a bit surprised by one of the bedrooms being in the basement. Lovely setting on the back deck for eating outside. Nice windows in the back.
