Great staff, friendly, warm and engaging. Great atmosphere in public areas. The bathroom door handle in my room fell off and the sink would not drain. The hotel fixed it immediately. The WiFi was terrible. It was very slow, website landing pages would fail to load because of timing out. Service would drop completely off.

Rarely give 5 stars, but this place is incredible. It’s right downtown near all the shopping/eat and Pearl St Mall. Can walk safely there. The service in the hotel is great from the valet, to the front desk to the room service, everyone was warm, friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurants on site is not only delicious, but very reasonably priced for the area. Our room was in the newer addition and was extremely clean and cozy. Would absolutely stay here again.

There was a Boulder tax that was never disclosed in the Expedia reservation and during my check-in process at the hotel. I wish this would've been mentioned so it was not a surprise in the end and they added valet expenses to my reservation which I never used. I am not sure maybe miscommunication with their staff, but with that my stay overall was still good besides this mishap.

The Hotel Boulderado is a bucket list item I didn’t know I needed until I arrived. What a gorgeous building, steeped in history. As soon as you walk in, there’s a lot to take in, but make sure you look up, bc the stained glass ceiling is incredible. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are two sections, and if you’re in the North section, you’ll need to either take stairs or an elevator and then walk along the “skywalk” to get to your room. If you’re like me, and you appreciate the quirkiness of historic hotels, you’ll get used to it. It was a bit of a drag at first, but then my daughter and I found it to be an adventure. In our case, we wanted a light and bright room, so we stayed in a corner premium king in the North section. Totally worth it for us. Definitely speak with the front desk to express your needs and they’ll set you up. Our room was absolutely lovely. I couldn’t have been happier. We had a gorgeous view of the mountains and a fully bloomed apple blossom tree right outside our window. Next to the bathroom, there’s an additional sink and counter space for your convenience so two people can get ready for bed at the same time. The bed was very comfortable and shades/curtains ample to block out the sun. We had some late night revelers walking by, so the windows don’t block out all the street noise. If you need dead quiet, you might want a different room or location of the hotel. There’s a mini-fridge too, and a small gift shop to stock up on drinks and snacks.

Hotel Boulderado was fabulous! It was conveniently located to shopping and dining. But, the hotel has all the little touches, such as fresh flowers scattered throughout that make it feel special. Staff were helpful and friendly.
