The photos really don't do the hotel justice.
It's got a beautiful lobby with a large fire place and couches and arm chairs scattered around. When we arrived there was a jazz quartet playing and a wonderful atmosphere. The lobby and outside patio had full service and a great vibe.
I actually got a recommendation for places to go for drinks in Boulder and they recommended the St Julien Hotel - not knowing we were already staying there!
The rooms are very well appointed and included a mini-bar, lots of toiletries and supplies - more than most places I have stayed.
The location is perfect for Pearl St - literally through a lane into the middle of it.
We nearly canceled our booking originally and opted for something cheaper, but I am so glad we didn't. It was absolutely worth the extra $ and we will definitely make this our go-to location in Boulder.
Everything about this property is first rate. The accommodations and common areas were in excellent condition and all small touches in the room thoughtfully considered. The staff are the jewel in the crown though. They were just exceptional - warm, welcoming, helpful, accommodating. Everyone from the concierge to valets to the front desk staff (extra shout out to Lauren and Jack) to housekeeping were warm and friendly and made our short visit memorable. Worth every penny and will stay again when in Boulder. Highly recommend.
The St Julien was a good experience. The common rooms were inviting and the staff was attentive. Loved the large bathtub in my room. The only thing keeping this review at “good” instead of “great” is the food & beverage program. Mixed drinks were ok and the two dinners we had there were ok as well
Beautiful, attentive hotel in a wonderful town. This was our third stay, and the hotel has been consistently fabulous. The level of service has remained very high, both before and during the pandemic.
Phones didn't work after 3 resets. Had to call for over an hour, leaving VM and calling the front desk to get a hold of someone to order breakfast. He was rude and made it rather clear that we were interrupting him and putting him out.
Getting food and assistance was not easy!
The Hotel was a nice size room and the Staff was very polite. The Restaurant was very slow service and the food was average at best. Dinner was better than breakfast. It may be because of Covid, but the services was extremely slow and many mistakes were made.
The hotel is in the perfect location. Right off Pearl street. There is a ton of restaurants and shopping in walking distance. VERY nice hotel with a nice bar and pool/hot tub.
My only plea to the people who run it is PLEASE upgrade the in-room coffee machine. It's awful. Just a K-cup machine would be huge improvement.
Love the place. Will go back.
