Beautiful property. However wish the internet worked a little better. Being in the middle of nowhere with no ability to contact with a child makes it hard.
We enjoyed our stay. However, upon arriving, we couldnât find the place because the GPS only took us halfway up the road. In your directions, you should say go all the way to the end of the dead end street or until you actually see the cabin, which is right off the dirt road. Also the outhouse mechanism was faulty, and we had to use a hammer. Otherwise, the cabin is adorable and the host is very kind and responsive. I highly recommend staying there if you enjoy a good glamping experience.
First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!
I had a nice, quiet stay at the little red cabin. It is a beautiful property with a lot to offer. I found the listing accurate in the materials you are recommended to bring for yourself. I'd recommend writing down the code for the door before heading to the cabin, there is a decent chance you wont have service upon arrival. Their wifi was good, and should support anything you should need it for. I did hike the Crane Mountain pond and summit trail. It was a wonderful but difficult hike.
We really wanted to love this cabin, and Kimberly was great at communicating and answering all our questions. However, the lack of a shower and running water was a major downside. If these amenities were available, this would be a perfect little cabin. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay in this nice location.
We had a great stay at little the red cabin. Literally 2 cars drove by the entire weekend. If you want a place to go and be alone without any distractions this is definitely the place! The brook outback that runs just beyond the deck makes this such an amazingly beautiful place. Check in was a breeze. The outdoor shower was definitely a cool experience once we got it set up. I would definitely stay again.
Absolutely ADORED my long weekend at the little red cabin.
Located on a dirt road with a few neighboring houses in the woods, this is the best get away Iâve ever had. Host was very accommodating to my pets (deposit was required which is fully understandable). Self check in with a smart lock, when entering the cabin the vibe is spot on. Twinkly lights for setting the mood, beautifully decorated with just the right amount of amenities needed for a get away in this decade. Host offers Wi-Fi, as well as a smart tv. The outside of the cabin is so peaceful with the Brook flowing through the property, 2 fire pits, twinkly lights wrapped around the area for the pits. She was communicative with me for any issue I had, checking in and out was a breeze. The neighbors were friendly during my stay. Thereâs many trails nearby (I only took advantage of one).
I will definitely be returning! I could not recommend this place more.
Stay here and fall in love with this cabin.
Climb crane mountain, ski Gore or Hickory, fish Garnet lake, hike to remote ponds. Enjoy each night back at the cabin.
My stay here was fantastic. I hope to stay here again.
