I know there are a number of great reviews for this home, but I’m wondering if they were done soon after the home was purchased because right now it needs a whole lot of TLC. It appears all the photos were taken when Jay bought the home and it was in better condition. The window in the family room is now boarded up. There are so many awful scratches on the fireplace, I can’t imagine who did that but it looks awful. The lanai has screens that are ripped and they blow when it’s windy. The grounds around the lanai are in just awful condition. Nothing like the photos . One remote control was missing for one of the bedrooms, and it controls the fan in the room. The pots and pans were very scratched. When we arrived, there was residual coffee in the bottom of a coffee cup, and lipstick stain on a glass so we washed everything before we used them. There are two vanities in the bathroom. One had water just trickling out of it. Jay responded immediately and called the Handyman. He proceeded to remove the aerator on the faucet which then resulted in water splashing everywhere. It was a mess. I’m sure he must’ve told Jay about that when he left but that was hardly a fix. The pool is leaking lots of water.The heat is set to 85 but when it gets cold at night, it doesn’t get back to 85 easily so we were not able to use it. It did get cold while we were there. Jay was very responsive but the home needs TLC. I also felt like the bedspread and shams in master needed a really good washing.

Jay was a fantastic host! He was flexible with our changing schedule as our flights changed. He was responsive and answered all questions before we arrived. We had a wonderful few days in Bradenton.

Overall, I give our stay 3 1/2 stars. The pros: Jay is super responsive and immediately ordered more utensils to be delivered the next day when we realized there weren’t enough for our group. The bedrooms were spacious, and while the living room is small, there was enough space for our group of 11 to hang out. And speaking of having a large group, we all had plenty of hot water when taking our showers. The neighborhood is quiet, 15 minute drive to the beach, and my kids enjoyed the pool.The cons: the house could really use a deep cleaning and some maintenance. The pool deck has a build up of dirt (but the pool itself was clean), there are areas inside the house where plaster has fallen off the ceiling, the big picture window in the living room shown in the pictures had a piece of plywood nailed over it, and some outlets at the kitchen island didn’t work. In the master bedroom, I didn’t realize from the pictures, but there is no door separating the bedroom from the bathroom and while it does have a water closet for the toilet, the door is louvered so it didn’t feel as private as a solid door. That may not be a con for everyone, it did make it tricky for us to get ready because we were sharing the bedroom with our 9 and 13 year old (there is a day bed with trundle and king size bed, which was great for sharing with kids if needed, but the bathroom situation wasn’t ideal). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I have no doubt that Jay would quickly get you anything needed.

The location of the home in conjunction with eateries, shopping, and the beaches was excellent!The privacy pool and patio area, and the plant life surrounding the backside of the home was beautiful!!Plenty of room, great TV viewing options for the night time, well maintained and beautiful neighborhood as well!!

Great Getaway

The property was just like it said online. Jay was very responsive when I asked any questions or had any problems. The house had a beautiful pool that was heated to a great temperature. Everything was well stocked in the home and there was so much space to spread out. The neighborhood was great and the location was perfect to Anna Maria Island. We definitely will come back

10 day vacation

We had a very good stay at Jays place. We like the Palma Sola neighborhood as it’s very easy access to the beach, Bradenton shopping and restaurants. Also a great stop is GT Bray park for all sports and exercise. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The pool was comfortably warm even though the local temps were a little cool. The pool furniture wasn’t as comfortable as we like but it was a minor issue. We had one issue with a sink and Jay had it serviced within two hours. Great spot for a family or group of friends

Girls soccer tournament trip

I stayed here with my daughter and two other mother/daughter duos. We found there was plenty of space and beds. The property was clean. Available beach chairs, pool towels, and other items came in handy. We enjoyed our stay.

Spacious home

Great home for all ages. It was clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub was heated. When anything was needed an immediate call back and rectified. Kitchen was small and needed additional cutlery. There were very few pans which made it difficult to cook for seven people. We enjoyed our stay.

This house easily accommodated our large group. There were plenty of kitchen tools and dishes. Communication with Jay was excellent. We would have liked to have an extra blanket or two, but otherwise we had everything we needed. The only small downside was that the bedroom with the bunk beds was small for the six people who can sleep in it. We would definitely stay here again.

Home Away From Home

This house was truly a home away from home. It is spacious and the design is accessible. From the pool, there is easy access to a full bath and kitchen. There is outdoor seating enough for all of us. Fully functional barbecue grill, which we were able to use for our barbecue night. There is plenty of dishes, glasses, as well as espresso, coffee machines. There’s a big TV in the living room for movie night. The outdoor swimming pool is fully screened, keeping away the bugs and insects. The AC ran perfectly without a hitch. We were all comfortable. There are umbrellas and beach chairs that we were able to use at the Manatee and Coquina beaches. Both beaches were about 10 minutes away from the house and plenty of parking. There’s a mango tree at front yard that the owner allowed us to pick and they were sweet and delicious! Lime trees for our mojito nights 😊 Thanks again Jay for making our family reunion memorable. Highly recommend this place for families with little kids. Will rent again should we be in Bradenton

Family spring break

We had 2 families (9 people total) stay here and the house worked out great…very clean, stocked with all the essentials, quiet neighborhood. I also liked how 2 of the rooms were on 1 side of house and the other 2 were on opposite side…made it feel much less cramped than if it was all 1 hallway style. The pool and pool area was clean and serene and we utilized the gas grill and outdoor table for a couple dinners out there. The kids used the pool table overlooking the pool area which helped as another fun option. 3 full bathrooms worked out well too. The beach is a very easy 5mile drive. Lastly Jay the owner was a fantastic communicator throughout. We recommend this

Beautiful Home In Great Neighborhood!

We really enjoyed our stay in Bradenton - the house was clean, well-equipped and in great proximity to the amenities of the Bradenton area, with easy access to neighboring Anna Maria Island. Our only regret was the the hot tub attached to the pool was not actuallly a hot tub, just an extension of the pool. In fairness to the renter, they had not advertised it as a hot tub, we had just made an assumption based on the pool's layout. All in all, an excellent vacation spot!

Absolutely Amazing

This property was equipped with literally everything a family might need to have a relaxing weekend. It was spacious and clean well stocked with the little things you don’t think you might need such as extra garbage bags, dish soap, Q-tips, seasonings for cooking, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, baggies, etc. The kids really enjoyed the pool and patio area. We enjoyed that there was a pocket door that separated living areas, and all the sliding glass doors to the patio. Even though the house is not beach side, it only takes minutes to get to the beach and the views on the way are breath taking. All in all we would absolutely book this rental again!!

wonderful and relaxing stay

We really loved staying at this property. We were 13 adults, super comfortable. All clean. Excess towels. We really don't have anything negative.
