LIFT DOESN’T WORK!

By far the worst service and some rude staff! I got there at 2am as u had to travel so had late check in.. the night staff/manager was so rude! The lifts haven’t been working for a while which they haven’t mentioned anywhere.. Gave me the highest floor despite seeing my heavily pregnant wife.. asked him to give us another floor rudely said we have nothing and says in a rude manner do you still want to check in or leave.. we had no choice taking so many stairs.. with luggage and no help! breakfast was ridiculously poor!!

Great disappointment of hotel.

No Wi-Fi in-our room,lift not working, were originally allocated a room on level 5, due to our mobility issues the hotel was informed it was impossible for myself and husband to climb up and down the stairs. We were then allocated 1st floor which still left us to walk up and down 33 stairs, which caused me to have breathing problems. I did contact the hotel previously as there was an issue with the lift months previously. I received an email stating the lift would be working for our arrival. When we went into the lounge for a drink, there was no person serving and waited so time on a member of staff appearing. When asking about evening meal, we were informed there was no restaurant, however there was a limited room service. We booked this hotel as is stated there was a restaurant available. Our room was not the clean, the carpet had 2 dirty black marks on the carpet as as entering the room, bathroom door had smears and finger marks on the door also the shower screen trifold would not stay in place also loads of sticky material on the bottom of the doors. Would definitely not recommend this hotel.

Close to the town centre. Spacious reception. No towels in the room, over two hours later still no towels. Two tvs in the room, both didn't work. Given a room on the second floor, lift out of order. Moved into a new room on the first floor. Breakfast was buffet style, plenty of food available but no fresh coffee.

The hotel's lift has been broken for months. This wasn't informed by Expedia when booking. The hotel only told us after paying and put us on the 4th, nousy floor. Shame.

Was advertised as 4 star it shouldn’t be. Travelodge is cleaner. Dusty everywhere. Lift not working, fridge cupboard had no fridge. Had a couple of weird phone calls from reception that were silent?? Generally lacked care, chipped furniture and bath. Bed blanket with lots of pulls in it. Disappointed really, did not report to hotel as we only really slept in room and a shower the next day. If I had a longer booking would have moved hotel.
