The good - the hotel was very clean, modern and seemed new. Easy to walk to the Landing and downtown. The not-so-good - front desk checkin was lackluster; we weren't even really welcomed more of a nonchalant "how can I help you" as though the gentleman didn't care if we were there or not. The lighting in the bathroom vanity was terrible - good luck applying makeup ladies! The shower faucet arm wouldn't stay put and shot water all over except on us. The curtains wouldn't shut all the way so light penetrated through. OH and parking is $22 daily - didn't find that gem out until we were in the process of checking in. Thankfully you can park across the street a block away by the Starbucks for free.

We have stayed here a couple times and it was wonderful each time! The only thing i dislike are the pillows! Im sure its just my preference but they are not for me!!!

Valet parking (even though I didn’t use the service) was top notch having a personality along with being caring. Check-in, very delayed & not so much personality. Upgraded room, due to a mistake with the room I had reserved which I’ll come back to. Being moved to South side, no carts to take your belongings unless you pay for valet parking is a touch of an annoyance. The room was like an Air bnb having everything needed for a place like home away from home. Room needed a decent deep clean, but only complaint with the room is the two feet span of mold above the bed, was moldy with actual mold growing above the surface. I mentioned this to the desk personnel @5:40pm, wanted to verify this wouldn’t be a health hazard. She jotted the information down & assuming filed it in the trash can, but circling back to the free room upgrade I just let it go. During check out, I mentioned this to the lady attending the desk so it could be addressed prior to the new occupants. She actually expressed concern & when I wasn’t seeking a credit, she waived the parking fee of $22.00. This place is most definitely location driven, not worthy of five stars but for the most part deserves a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
