Never knew it was gated. Guard was great.Communication lacked- Even if they send messages at 11:11pm also automated messages/autobot1st night, we get in checked in around 5. Unit 4 smells awful cannot pin point the smell let the bnb know it wasnât us; maintenance shows up the next day with ozium and an air freshener spray. It does nothing for the smell but mask it and then later heighten it. Same night, unit 3. Iâm giving my first out of six kids in our group a bath. After the first bath not even filled half way, the water goes cold on the second and third showers. I myself didnât shower until 12:00 to get a warm shower that night after working all day then driving down for this family vacation to meet up with everyone. Next morning, coffee maker in unit 4 does not work no worries unit 3 had 2 for some reason moved it over there so everyone could have coffee where they were at. Last night, we come home late for silver dollar city, thereâs some type of bug in our towels. Idk what it is, maggot;beetle idk. Anyway, go to message the host for what feels like a little too much for my liking. Vrbo cannot control the funds on this companyâ so donât let them waste your time like they did mine after all said and done. Cindy- had to transfer me to higher management- if I could leave a zero on this I would, but you canât. P.S their supply closet is outside with no sealant on the floor so literally any critter can get through. 1B inop not noted as well.
It was nice to have a place with a kitchen.
Items to consider for improvement:
1. Clock needed a battery.
2. Fireplace was not functional. We had two units. The one came on but did not heat...only a light that looked like a fire came. The other place only the fan would run and not other replication of any fire. I think that some one needs to look at these and either fix or inform renters.
3. Check in was confusing. The person at the gate was very, very good! He found our reservation; was polite in all regards; and then checked us in. Since our group was not coming until 7 PM or 9 PM on the first night, we went to the unit and were cleared to do so at Noon. We then received a text followed by a telephone call waring us of fees for early entry. We left the property at that poinit and did not return until 4 PM. The 'Team' at Branson were not at all good with customers. The Gate was tremendous with customers. IF in fact we were not to go to the property...then the gate should not have let us in the gated community. Also, we rec'd the codes two days in advance so a brief stop to 'check things out' seemed reasonable.
We also texted the 'Team' asking if soap and shampoo was available...with no response throughout our 4 days.
Overall, our group was very happy.
