The room was old and run down. The building we were in was very sketchy. People next to us were up partying/noisy until all hours of the night, and there was a dog barking until 2:00am right below us. I had a horrible nights sleep. The pillows were flat as pancakes, the towels were the roughest/scratchiest I have ever seen. There was barely luke warm water when we showered. The body wash dispenser was empty, and the room smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a No Smoking room. Worst hotel we have stayed at in YEARS. We almost moved to a new hotel for the 2nd night, but I didn't want to spend even more money on a room. I guess you get what you pay for. Lesson Learned.

Like the town of Brattleboro itself, this once iconic motel has fallen to decay. A close examination for bed bugs proved there were none. But the room was dingy and the rug torn and repaired in several places. The wall paint was dirty and there was no soap or shampoo in the wall-mounted dispensers. It is obvious this place is housing the town's population of addicts and mentally ill, It was very sad to see

The room was quite large and spacious and the beds were comfortable… I would have given it 5 stars except that on two occasions, the room keys lost their magnetic properties and had to drive back to the front desk to get fixed. And there was no bar soap in the bathroom, had to use the shower body gel to wash hands.. so I gave it 4 stars. Hot tub was very nice and it also has 2 indoor pools and a little gym.. sauna and steam rooms in locker rooms. Also had showers. Overall very nice place and would stay again.

Manager would not let my 16 year old use the hot tub with me. I guess the rule is 18 plus for hot tub. It was advertised but could use it… After a cold day of skiing this sucked. Room smelled like smoke.

The place is conveniently located next to the center of Brattleboro. The “full service spa” isn’t true. You have to pay to use the pool, and there isn’t a full-service spa. I also saw a red droplet on my bedsheet and it wasn’t mine.
