My family and I had a wonderful week staying at 'Epic Retreat Breck'. There were so many amazing amenities to enjoy that made this stay effortless and luxurious. The views from the home are beautiful, you can catch a sunrise overlooking Baldy mountain or watch the sunset behind peak 8.Having the ski in ski out capabilities was a game changer for our family on this trip. Just ski down 4 o clock to snowflake and you're on peak 8 in no time. This made our trip so much better with having the option to come home quickly mid-day for lunch and enjoy a nice relaxing cocktail and visit with group members who weren't skiing that day or those who only wanted a half day on the mountain. Furthermore, the home has heated boot and glove warmers that could accommodate for our 14 skiers, this was an awesome feature after we'd come in for lunch or early in the morning before going out for the day. The home itself is insanely gorgeous and crafted with unique features from the ski chair lift cables you see on the staircases and bar rail, to the reclaimed wood that has been used throughout the home. The furnishings and décor leave you feeling like you are staying in the most luxurious mountain home.We had a party of 16 guests and the home was a great mix of having ample community and hangout space but also everyone was well dispersed in their sleeping arrangements that you could have some personal space if wanted. With our large group we love cooking and planning meals, eating in as much as possible- this home did not fall short in aiding those abilities. There was plenty of serve ware, drinkware, dinnerware to supply the entire group and then some. Having the two dishwashers was also key for the size of group we had. Other kitchen features that were great to see were the kitchen aid, instant pot, and a well-stocked spice cabinet that made meal planning a breeze. Overall, I will hopefully never stay at a different home in Breckenridge.
