The most important part of an overnight stay is being able to sleep. The King and Queen mattresses were unacceptable - very hard surfaces. The sheets were very rough. The sofa bed pullouts were not much better!A tiny 13-in TV in the bedroom with a VHS tape input?Digital TVs are very affordable. Why have these not been purchased? It is difficult to moderate the shower temperatures. Either hot or cold. The water tasted salty. The ice maker on the refrigerator makes too much ice.Utensils were supplied, and the microwave was fine. The nice-looking pictures and reviews were very deceiving. The location is excellent, but living inside and sleeping was not.
The house is beautiful well kept, clean and has everything you could need. It is in great place near main street and right next to the ski lift. Sadly peak 9 and 10 closed the day before we got there so we still needed to get the bus to the gondola. This was free and easy to access.
Pros:1. Location, location, location. Fantastic for ski-in and ski-out. Very close to the village and town for shopping and restaurants.Cons:1. Very expensive rental for condition of property.2. Everything is dated and very much needs to be updated.3. Rooms are poorly lit, somewhat depressing and uninviting due to its condition.4. Water fixtures operate poorly due to old condition.5. Paint, tile, wall paper, carpet and furniture are old and in poor condition, which made property feel dirty.6. Linens and pillow are old and in poor condition.
great location townhome in desperate need of a remodel, everything is dated. cook ware was dirty ,bent and more like a college dorm. there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. great location but for the price I would give the unit some love
We stayed at the Cedars condo for a couple of days over the US Thanksgiving holiday. The condo is ski in/ski out with great proximity to town. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. My only wish is that the second bedroom had twin beds instead of a queen, but we knew that going in and made it work. All in all, we'd definitely stay here again.
Staying at Cedars is the perfect location to place yourself when skiing Breckenridge BEFORE they start closing the Quicksilver lift.
An easy no huff and puff brief walk to slopes before popping on your skis or board. The same easy walk to town to enjoy all that Breck has to offer.
This home is perfect for four people in two BDRs with three bathrooms with showers/tubs. Kitchen is well equipped with coffee brewers(but bring your own filters), pots and pans, all utensils. Refrigerator was spotless and ice was clean and not smelly like some units I have stayed at.
Single garage and not really deep so that Yukon or Suburban you rent may not fitâŠbut outside parking available for the community.
Taking out trash and recycling just thirty feet away so no reason to be lazy and leave a mess.
In summary would definitely stay here again and less pricey then other units I have stayed at in Cedars. I do NOT agree with other reviews that this unit is old or not updated⊠it definitely has for those things that matter
We have stayed in many Cedars townhomes over the last 15 years and this one definitely needs some updates. The upstairs beds are ok. The fold out sofa mattress is almost unsleepable, if thatâs a word. Itâs saggy and very compressed. It might work for a small child but definitely not an adult. Thereâs no overhead light or fan in the master bedroom. We probably wouldnât need a fan but the absence of a light made it always seem gloomy. The small lamps are not sufficient light for this room. The bathrooms have not been updated but everything worked fine except the master bath exhaust fan. The kitchen has a variety of really old pans. No pizza pan or pizza cutter. The baking sheets have burned food baked into them. We washed them before and after using them but they really should be replaced. There is not a complete set of silverware. No small spoons like you would use for cereal or yogurt. The dishwasher worked well. Finally, every other Cedars townhome weâve stayed in has had at least one humidifier and some have one in each bedroom. Cedars 33 has none. You cannot beat the Cedars location so we would stay here again but if a more updated unit were available, we would choose it instead of 33.
Enjoyed the stay, canât beat the location as ski in and out, right off Qucksilver lift. The actual unit is outdated, but not bad. Has a 80s feel. Had a couple issues it mgmt company was able to resolve quickly. I prefer firm and supportive mattresses, so sleeping was an issue for us whatâs what weâre used to. Could use a major upgrade in bedrooms, linens and covers.
