The Chalet was good, bathroom is VERY small, stairway & upstairs is small, not able to stand up and get dressed upstairs, bathroom size is like an small RV size. As I do understand security, I did feel uneasy knowing we arrived early and were just sitting on the deck glad to be out of truck of a 9 hour drive, and owner emails and wants to know if we want early check-in. That tells me that I felt "watched" while on site, also made me wonder if there were hidden camera's inside the Chalet, for that I did not feel at ease or comfortable there. This is simply my opinion, it may not be the case but after hearing about situations like this on the news before arriving.
However, we were surprised to learn the âchaletâ was a trailer! In a trailer park! The surrounding property was not well-maintained. There was a nice community center with a laundry, pool, exercise room and arcade. The TV worked better than most VRBOâs. The pictures on the website make it look like a condo, but itâs a very small space for 2 people let alone more! One could hardly turn around in the bathroom or shower and getting around the bed was difficult. I think a better description is in order.
We snuck up to the Mts with our 15 year old son and dog. The snow and sun chalet was perfect!! Great location, clean, well equipped and very dog friendly!!! We will definitely be back!!
Some rentals or hotels display "pet friendly" on their website, but there's no standard definition of what that means. This place is genuinely pet friendly, not merely pet tolerant. There are no restrictions for weight, and the provided pet fence and poo bags are luxuries compared to other places. My two dogs had a wonderful time here, and my time here was made that much more wonderful because they had a great time.
Spontaneous golf getaway with my husband and puppers. This listing is just as described. It was a perfect little setup that made people and pups feel welcome! The deck is great for morning coffee, the couch is a great size, the ceiling fans work great, the park amenities and streets for walking were perfect and the bonus items for dogs was awesome!
Sun and Snow Chalet is really a trailer unsuitable for winter stays and not that dog friendly
To preface, while the listing is highly inaccurate and the place is very overpriced for what it is, the host was responsive.
This listing is filled with inaccuracies and the pictures were clearly taken by a professional with an eye for digital illusion. The following things in the listing are not true:
1. âChaletâ - itâs a trailer with a loft. Itâs cramped.
2. âDog paradiseâ - dogs are not allowed on the beds or couch which confines them to maybe 50 sq ft of floor space.
3. âTwo bedroomâ - the second âbedroomâ is a loft that is just dead space because the ceiling is so low. The single bedroom is so small that itâs completely consumed by the queen mattress.
4. âYear round delightâ. The host should not rent this place in the winter as it is completely unsuitable for guests who are looking to ski. The heater is ancient and very loud. It turns on and off constantly making sleep difficult. The windows leak cold air making the living room area freezing. There is no realistic/safe way to take public transit to Breckenridge. The outdoor areas are unusable.
5. âWasher & Dryerâ - listed on VRBO like theyâre in the unit, but they are just pay machines in the clubhouse.
Also, the coffee table was broken missing a leg, the vacuum (which you will need to use to clean dog hair per the contract) was disgusting, and I was accosted by an unpleasant snow removal person for asking for salt to clear black ice in the driveway.
There are better options in Breck around the same price incl fees.
The place is clean but very small for four with a dog. I was charged for an additional person (the 4th one). When I sent an email asking why there was an additional charge, I never got a reply. But I got a several emails from the owner asking for five stars :)
Although I could no longer make the reservation at the last minute, the other couple we had planned to go with loved this place - very cute and clean, and a great place to stay with their dog. Jaclyn was prompt with her responses to our questions.
Very cute little place to spend a week. Ten minutes from downtown Breckenridge and Frisco made access to both very easy. Clubhouse has a nice swimming pool and hot tub, as well as a laundry facility. Access to hiking trail right from the back of the RV park was great for walking the dogs. Upstairs loft is a bit tight, wouldnât recommend it for people over 5â7â.
The Tiger Run resort is so cool!!! The little tiny cabins are so beautiful. The resort well run with great amenities! Fabulous location to Breckinridge and Dillon
Kitchen well equipped
What a lovely, quiet location, near trails, biking, and swimming. Our dogs loved it! Whenever I had a question your response was virtually immediate. You had wonderful attention to detail. Your customer service was top-rate. We also enjoyed how many dining options we had being nestled between Breck and Frisco. Much of the morning and evening were spent on the deck, just being together as a family. It was a lovely few days that we wouldn't hesitate to repeat.
This chalet was the perfect place! Super clean, had everything we needed, and had a little fence for our dog. Close to downtown shopping was a plus and close to other cities for day trips. We would definitely stay here again!
Such a wonderful community. Kind people

Has so many amenities daughters dog loved the dog park
Thank you hope to stay again soon
