Property was as described and served our family of three for the week very well. We had plenty of room, quiet neighbors, and enjoyed staying near hiking, OHV trails, and easy access to Breckenridge.
We were a big group and enjoyed our stay at the mountain house. The location was about 10 minutes to town with snow covered roads and the elevation is above the 10,000âs which caused a little difficulty sleeping the first night but we got used to it. There are three bathrooms available but the hot water does not last long. There is no phone reception in the mountains but could get some service using the wifi provided. There is a land line available. Over all we had a great time at the mountain house.
We couldnât get the heaters in the main living area to work correctly. It could be set on 80 and it was 62 or 65. Which a few days the outside temperature was 6 degrees and high of like 15. The fireplace is an âelectricâ plug in and didnât work at all. No matter what we tried we could not get the fire place to work. Which was very inconvenient With kids and adults coming in and out of the snow. There was no racks or places to hang gloves and snow gear to dry out. The cabin was darling though & perfect for our family of 6 the top room was PERFECT for kiddos. Plenty of bathroom space with 3 full bathrooms. We loved it and will hopefully be back next year. Aside from heater not working properly & the fireplace disappointment we had the absolute best time. Memories for a lifetime.
We stayed at the end of February for my husband's 50th with some friends. Great house! We had plenty of room, everything is super clean and organized. We had a ton of snow our first couple days and as I was asking if the driveway would be plowed...the plow showed up AND they replied super fast. So all was good! The drive into Breckendridge is not bad at all. We had a couple of slower days, there had been lots of snow so drivers were cautious but even then it wasn't terrible.
The only teeny tiny issue we had was that we were unaware that there is basically no cell service. They do have plenty of telephones for use and encourage you to give out the number and use it but it was a little difficult as my husband and I are both business owners and technically we never really get days off lol so work was a bit of a pain but easy enough to rearrange a few things and make our calls when we got into town. We just took it as a sign to slow down and enjoy :)
Overall...highly recommend!
