The house was perfect for our annual Super Bowl weekend to the mountains. The home offered plenty of space for all the families and plenty of room to spread out. Making homemade pizzas in the pizza oven was probably the highlight of the trip. We were already talking about reserving the house again for next year.

Perfect for Us!

This house was perfect for our retreat. The location is ideal if you want some distance from Breck while still being a short 10-minute drive into town. The views and surrounding nature is simply majestic. The host was also very clear with their communication and house instructions. We would highly recommend this property!

Fantastic Stay at the Picturesque Mountain Lodge

We stayed at this beautiful lodge with 9 adults and 3 kids under the age of 2 at the end of September, and it exceeded our expectations. The hot tub was a definite highlight, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchen is fully stocked, although I recommend bringing along plastic wrap, plastic bags, and tin foil. The pots and pans are usable but not of the highest quality, though we had no issues cooking multiple meals in the kitchen. The main living area is much more open than it appears in the photos, offering a spacious, connected flow from the front door through the living room, dining room, and kitchen—ideal for large groups. Each of the four king bedrooms has an attached bathroom, which provided ample privacy and comfort for each family. The deck is incredibly peaceful, offering a great spot to enjoy the surroundings. The location is also perfect—just a short 10-minute drive to town and only 5 minutes from the stunning Blue Lakes Trails. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and spacious mountain retreat! Be sure to check with the property that there is enough small wood for the pizza oven ahead of time. There wasn't enough for us and there was no axe to chop the existing wood to smaller pieces.

Breathe taking view

This house was lovely. The view is amazing. Kitchen amenities are in need of replacement and upgrading a lot of things. The hot tub was not working properly and it took 5 minutes each time to turn on. About 15 drive to Breckenridge, but worth the tranquility.

Family getaway

The only small things I would add is that the one straight back chair seat was broke when we arrived & we left it at the kitchen table. The shirt squiggle in the main floor shower needs replaced. All the refrigerators was a plus with 4 families. View off the deck was beautiful & we saw a fix one morning.

Perfect location for our family

We had a total of 8 adults and 2 children and found this house perfect for us. We enjoyed all the amenities especially the hot tub, fireplaces and pool table. Appreciate the family size kitchen for multiple cooks Thanksgiving week. Each bedroom having its own bathroom room was definitely a plus. We found the location perfect for us and the views magnificent!! We walked to trails and sledded outside. We built a lot of wonderful family memories.

Excellent Secluded Property with Great Views

This property was great for a group of five couples. Everything was great about the property. The only improvements that need to be made our with the kitchen appliances. The oven is extremely slow when heating up. Also, the main refrigerator is out and awaiting replacement parts and repair. However, the smaller refrigerator that has been provided is not big enough for large groups. With large group with lots of groceries the small refrigerator can become crammed and full very easily. Other than this concern, it is a very nice property to stay at.. My group had a great time and I highly recommend it.

Great vacation !

We loved the house. It's close to outstanding trailheads; a 10-15 minute drive from town; quiet; and a moose and calf visited the front yard one afternoon! We highly recommend this house!

Great stay!

Beautiful home tucked away in Breckenridge. We had a great time! The house is very spacious and has amazing views! A few items to note, there was plywood on the floor near the front entrance to the home (I guess there was a leak?). There was also gum stuck to the nightstand in the main-floor master bedroom.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

This beautiful log mountain home met or exceeded our expectations except for some issues related to a lightning storm that had occurred some time before our arrival. These issues had not been communicated to us prior to our visit. These issues did not make a dramatic difference but did result in our rating of 4 instead of 5.

My family wants this to be our new yearly reunion location

Nothing in life is truly perfect. There are always things that one can look at and say it could have been better if..... Mountain Kingdom was as close as you are going to get to perfection in so many ways. The secluded location was amazing for that "being one with nature" type of feel while still providing the upscale and comfortable feeling that will stay with you for a long time to come. I am still holding on to that feeling that "I must get back to that place" even though we have been back home for weeks. The amenities in the house are exactly as advertised (VERY NICE). The hot tub had one of the best views you could ask for and was amazingly peaceful. The proximity to downtown Breckenridge was awesome for quick runs to the grocery store as well as spending a half or full day strolling around the quaint coffee shops, retail stores, and restaurants. We were also able to get to a couple of trails to hike within minutes of the property which led to a phenomenal view of the mountains. We only experienced a few imperfection during our 5 day stay but the management company truly bent over backwards and reacted very quickly to rectify the unexpected issues while understanding that they didn't want to be around the house all the time intruding on our family. Overall, each one of our 12 family members that joined in this trip commented at how much they enjoyed the small vacation being able to spend with family in such a beautiful location in such an amazing house and want to make this "our place" going forward. Our 3 year old son still is saying "Let's go back to the Colorado House". I highly recommend Mountain Kingdom for anyone who wants to experience what our family did......just don't book it the same week my family wants to go back!!

Perfect vacation for large groups

I almost hate to say how perfect this home was for 20 people to gather together for a wedding, because I would like it to be open for us again in the future. Opportunities for hiking for all levels abounded, as well as horseback riding, wandering through Breck and climbing. We all gathered at the home in the evenings, cooked a meal in the fabulous kitchen, and had fun at the fire pit, hot tub, game room and using the pizza oven. What a beautiful way for two families to get to know each other. The management let us know about some inadvertent damage caused by an ice maker leak before we came, and it did not affect our enjoyment of the trip.

Mountain Paradise

Just recently stayed at Mountain kingdom with a large group and I must say it was absolutely beautiful! The setup of the rooms gave all parties plenty of privacy and access to your own full bathroom was a big plus. The views from the balcony are breathtaking and many memories were made around the firepit. We even had a moose greet us one morning outside the main entrance! Overall communication with Invited Home was super easy and they had a great response time. We had an issue with some broken handles on the trash bin and communication with them was very smooth. I highly recommend Mountain Kingdom for any large group looking for seclusion, ample space, and breathtaking views.

Great for family and friends in the mountains

I stayed here four days with 20 people total in late June. The views are spectacular and you are walking distance to some great hiking. The house was easy to access. While the road leading up is a bit rough, you can make it with a 2WD sedan as long as it's clear (snow could pose an issue for non-4WD vehicles). It's a quick 15 minute trip from the house into Breckenridge, but the home still feels very private and secluded. Communication and check-in/check-out were seamless. Parking in the driveway was plentiful. The house is high-end, well-furnished, and comfortable. We used the back deck, game room, outdoor grill, and kitchen extensively. Our family was already talking about coming again before we even left.
