About this property
Bedlwyncoch Farmhouse
Overlooking the legendary Llyn y Fan, home of the mythic Lady of the Lake, Bedlwyncoch Farmhouse offers an idyllic country escape with panoramic views of the Crai Valley, spectacular by day and magical under the stars by night.
Whether you’re unwinding in the private hot tub, enjoying the fresh country air on the patio, or simply soaking in the peaceful atmosphere, this stunning farmhouse promises a memorable Welsh getaway.
Part of a working family farm just a mile from the village of Crai, this beautiful home has been lovingly restored to showcase its heritage and craftsmanship. Notably, the fireplace features Edwardian details and a unique mantelpiece incorporating elements from the organ of Adelina Patti, the famed 19th-century opera singer.
The farmhouse also boasts bespoke beds hand-crafted by local artisans, inspired by the surrounding Brecon Beacons landscape. Don't forget to take a peak at The Brecon Beacons inspired bed with the three peaks includingn Pen Y Fan with a farmstead carved into the base board.
Inside, the farmhouse sleeps eight guests across four thoughtfully styled bedrooms:
Pen y Fan Suite: King-sized handcrafted bed, cot, fitted wardrobes, longstanding mirror, stunning views over the Crai Valley, Smart TV, and a full en-suite bathroom
2 double bedrooms with smart TV's and storage
1 twin bedroom with smart TV and plenty of storage
A large family bathroom with a walk-in shower, bath, WC, and hand basin.
The heart of the home is the open-plan living space, featuring cosy patchwork sofas, two fireplaces, and a games corner for family time.
A spacious open plan kitchen and dining table with a handmade oak table to seat eight flows from the living room.
The well-equipped oak kitchen and utility includes:
Ceramic hob and built-in double oven
Microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer
Under-counter fridge and tall fridge with a separate chest freezer
Also on the ground floor is a conservatory, a convenient wet shower room, a utility area, and a boot room, perfect after a long walk in the hills.
For entertainment, the attic games room offers fun for all ages, with a pool/snooker table, air hockey, table football, and a 55" Smart TV.
Outside, you’ll find a large private garden, terraced patio, hot tub, BBQ, and a firepit, ideal for morning coffees or evening drinks under the stars.
The hot tub is available for adults only (guests under 16 and pregnant women are not permitted). It is emptied, cleaned, and refilled after every stay, so it may take up to 12 hours to reach full temperature.
As with all our properties, guests are welcomed with a starter pack of tea, coffee, and sugar sachets to settle in. We provide complimentary Black Pepper & Sandalwood shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, adding a touch of indulgence to your stay.
We’re proud to support eco-conscious travel, with an EV charging station available on-site.
Bedlwyncoch is dog-friendly, guests are welcome to bring up to two dogs and explore the countless walks from the doorstep.
A cot and highchair are also available upon request (please bring your own cot blankets).
