Super cute historic motel with tons of charm, bar and restaurant on site are excellent. Everyone that works there was really warm and accommodating. Only complaints are comfort/amenities—beds and pillows were very uncomfortable/thin and on rolling frames with no headboards that move away from the wall constantly. No mini fridge or coffee maker, no hair dryer. These are small things the hotel could add that would make a big difference in comfort.

The mattress is historic aka OLD and awful for sleep. The Inn is charming for sure but the mattress needs an upgrade. The shared bathroom was no issue and upgraded .

We loved everything about our stay! Friendly staff, very helpful! We loved the property and having a great porch sitting area was just a perfect ending to day of driving! Awesome that there is a delicious restaurant right there and wow! does the bar make one stiff drink! Perfect!

The main building is 148 years old as are most of the structures in town so things are for sure aged. This in my opinion adds to the experience and shouldn’t take away anything. The history and friendly staff all but made up for it. The menu is excellent and did not disappoint!! There other options in town but I prefer The Bridgeport Inn.
