Great option for people exploring Bright - walk to shops/cafes, good parking, nice and quiet street. Great outdoors area if the weather is good with table/chairs/bbq. Rated as a 3 star but I would say at the top end of 3 stars.
Property had spiders, cobwebs, doors falling off, mould in bathroom, smelt stale, tv didnât work, no milk for tea or coffee provided. Had better experience in hostels
Pro: old cottage charm, near with essential shops, homie, best location.
Cons: Interior need update desperately , backyard need to update and clean specially BBQ area. This place has so much potential.
My children and I liked all aspects of this accommodation. It was spacious, had all the facilities we could need and was in a fantastic location. Would definitely stay again.
The bathroom sink was blocked and took ages to drain. The rustic kitchen really needs updating. The equipment left in the kitchen is of very poor standard. For the price charged I would assume that a bowl that fits more than one wheatbix would be supplied. The headboard above the master bed is placed in position that you constantly hit your head. The second bedroom window was kept open with a piece of wood. Upon removing it to close the window it became suddenly apparent that the window sash was broken as the window then slammed suddenly shut on my fingers. Luckily they were not broken, just very bruised and swollen for several days. This window fault could amputate a childs fingers and need urgent repair.
Loved it over all!!! Would stay there again. Didn't give full stars because we only had one electric fry pan. We found this hard to plan our meals to cook! But was a great place still!
Facilities: Nice ; Value: Reasonable; Service: Helped me use DVD player.; Cleanliness: Spotless;
There are many interesting local shops and restaurants The main park in Bright next to the river was amazing to visit & a great place to relax.
